Are You A Fan Of Fan Fiction?

What do you do when you favourite book is over and there is nothing more to live for? You get on the internet and read some fan fiction.
No seriously, fan fiction, or fanfic as it is more popularly known, isn't one of those clubs where people obsesses about why Harry Potter didn't pocket the Elder Wand (though that's fun too). It's actually a whole new genre of stories that take inspiration from the original texts. Most popular fanfics pick elements from books, but provide new angles and story arcs, often giving you a completely new perspective on the characters. We've picked some of the best fanfics on the internet for you to obsess over. Rate them in the comments section

1. Based on Harry Potter
While there are thousands of fanfics on Harry Potter (everything from how Fred doesn't really die to the love story of Darry, aka Harry and Malfoy), what is particularly popular is fiction about the Marauders, while they were at Hogwarts. Stories about the original gang, Remus Lupin (Moony), Peter Pettigrew (Wormtail), Sirius Black (Padfoot), and James Potter (Prongs) along with Lily makes for a great read as you follow them on their nightly trails on the grounds of Hogwarts, the creation of The Marauders Map and Lily and James Potter's dating life.

2. Based on Star Wars

The most talked about fan fiction in Star Wars, without doubt is the pairing of Rey and Kylo Ren. The tension between them is too hard to ignore; right from when he carries her when she is unconscious in the forest, when he's interrogating her, to the legendary fight between the two where they share a moment (they do okay, so just accept it). This was a love story waiting to happen.

You can read about their story in this 55-chapter fanfic saga here: http://archiveofourown.org/works/5496170.

3. Based on The Hunger Games

When it comes to The Hunger Games the fan fiction network is abuzz with stories of Katniss and Peeta, after the battle is won, living out a happily-ever-after. However, one particular fan fiction theory that is slowly gaining popularity is about Primrose Everdeen and what would happen is she went to The Hunger Games instead of Katniss. Would she survive? Would she fall for Peeta Mellark? Would she be able to save Rue? Read all about her journey on this thread: https://www.fanfiction.net/community/Tribute-Primrose-Everdeen/116069/

My favorite fiction is "The Harry Potter series".

Medini Sundarrajan Deens Academy

I love fanfiction. It creates a whole new world for the author''s characters. Stories on the marauders era are just fanatstic and really humorous. Stories on Harry and Ginny''s life with their kids are also thriving,as many people are not satisfied with The Cursed Child. I would love to read about the Prim''s journey in the Hunger Games too.

I am not really into Fan Fiction, but I have read the Harry Potter and the Hunger Games series. And I wanna know more about Star Wars. The only characters I know are Darth Vader, Darth Sidious and Luke Skywalker. If Prim went to the Hunger Games, I don''t think there would be a rebellion or she could save herself. Katniss won''t become famous or be the Mockingjay. then Katniss will never be able to shake the feeling that she was responsible for Prim''s death.

In the first place, if Katniss''s name was drawn at the reaping then Prim would not have volunteered. Moreover it would twist the plot and make it less realistic because no 12 year old could survive in The Hunger Games. As for Harry Potter, he was too modest to pocket the Elder wand. Obviously you would not want to pocket it when you know it has a bloody history. The Marauders are an interesting subject.

Akshita Pandey LILAVATI BAI PODAR (A)-SCRUZ

I am a huge fan of fiction as it helps us believe that some things can be real like the magic, witchcraft, wizardry and of course we cannot forget the pristine ''Firebolt'' in the Harry Potter series. My favourite fiction books are The Harry Potter series and The Hunger Games Trilogy.
