What’s your New Year Resolution ?

Alone, battles can be won, but together we can win wars. My resolution is to work for the upliftment of underprivileged children after my Board exams. I will join NGO Shwas and help those who wish to study but have no means. I want to create awareness about personal hygiene among young girls.

Gurleen Nanda, class XII, Udgam School for Children, Ahmedabad

New Year brings loads of new opportunities. I plan to get into meditation in 2017. Besides, I will pursue my love for travelling, devote more time for writing and focus more on my classical singing. I also aim to complete and get published my partially completed novel.

Osheen RajPal, class X, CDS School, Katol Road, Nagpur

We find ourselves on the phone most of the time, be it a call, a text, a game or social networking sites. Phone has become smart, but we haven't. Hence, I resolve to try and use the phone as little as possible and dedicate that time to developing interpersonal relations, be it with friends or family.

New year is the beginning of something new and unexpected. My resolution would be to mend the mistakes I made last year, to put my life back on track. To spend time with my family and also to, hence, learn a craft.
