Vision 2020 Goals; How Can The Country Become Developed By Then?

On This Independence Day, we recall our former president APJ Abdul Kalam had said that India can become economically developed by 2020 if it maintains a GDP of 10-11 per cent, as there are many more years to achieve ‘Vision 2020’ goals.

How can the country become developed by 2020?

We can realise Kalam’s dreams by providing better job opportunities to the youth as more than 35 per cent of the population is below 25 years. Moreover, the government should expedite poverty alleviation programmes to transform India into a developed nation.

India needs to take care of its health sector to transform Dr Kalam’s dream into a reality. Every citizen should have access to free health check up. Unemployment is yet another area that requires attention. We need to create job opportunities to make our youths financially independent.

Kalam had a dream for India and now the onus lies on every Indian to transform his dream into reality. To realise his vision, first and foremost, we should get rid of corruption that has penetrated almost all sectors of society. Besides, our infrastructure should be made world class.

Given the present scenario, getting India fully developed by 2020 is only a dream. But we should have a positive attitude. To fulfill Dr Kalam’s aspiration, the government must come up with a proper mechanism to eradicate poverty and illiteracy from the country.

Economic development will definitely help India to progress but we need to also lay stress upon the fact that only in unity lies strength! This strength will help us develop

Dr . A . P . J . Abdul kalam dreamt of having a developed nation . Development is not only growth in theGDP or financial development , every individual in the country and the society must be developed . They must be given recognition . Once the discrimination based on the status , caste and family background is eliminated , obviously it will lead to development in the way of having employment , eradicating poverty and so on. It is all possible only in the society which is not dominant .

For India to be a developed country, what actually is the prime ingredient is what we call CIVIC SENSE. Only and only the participation and co- operation of Indians can make India a developed country. Being the largest ''people''s government'' in the world, only the people can take major steps to make India a developed economy.

I believe that India will be able to do much better in the near future. It will be able to refine the society and develop both in terms of mental level as well as physical status. I hope that the India of my future proves to be even better than my imagination of the India of my dreams.

The first step in taking our country to the path of prosperity is to stop corruption and bribery in the country. There are huge deposits of black money in the country. The rural people must be given education. No one should blindly vote, everyone must analyse and then cast their vote. There should be safety for women, acts of terrorism should get controlled. The standard of living must be raised by 2020.Every person associated with the government should be loyal and work with honesty.

Developed nation just doesn''t mean to be economically developed. We should we developed in our thoughts and activities. In many areas, women are still criticized and considered inferior to men. This represents the backwardness of our country. In present day scenario where men & women , rich & poor and high class and dalit are considered different, I am doubtful that India can become a developed nation.

A developed nation not only means to be economically developed but also socially and mentally developed. We can still hear the cases of intorlence where women are criticized and considered inferior to men. There are lot of social differences still prevalent in India like differences between men & women , rich & poor and high caste & Dalits etc. It is time for us to bring a change, however in the present day scenario, it is very difficult for India to be developed by 2020.

A country''s main source is its people. Human resource of a country is the best weapon that can be used for many drastic changes. When a mission is launched by a nation it couldn''t be successful by individuals, and is successful when every individual contributes 100% behalf of him.

Development by 2020 will just remain a dream......probably Dr. Kalam at that time, would not have envisaged the pathetic condition India would have reached because of the politicians who are mean-minded and self-concerned . Unfortunately, India has progressed towards demolition ....from scams to hypocrisy -this is the face of Indian politics.

For vision 2020 to be successful let all of us Indians stand united and build greenhouses which will give shelter to the unfortunate sector of India, build washrooms and construct foot paths at various different places. Roads should be widened and cameras should be placed on the road so that people who exceed the seed limit get a fine. Also, food should be donated by people for the people who don''t have food. Surely by doing this India will start taking steps to complete this vision.

India can only become a developed country if the population rate decreases. Due to the rising population in India the resources which we use are decreasing day by day. The poor people give birth to many babies which ultimately results in the growth of population. There should be a rule in India that a couple is allowed to give birth to only one child. This is the only way to decrease the population.

we need to amend our education system which is still posing as a barrier to educate students.what it is doing is just training them for a race.

Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam had dreamt of a nation which is fully developed! India in the past years stands out a complete misfit for the purpose. With corruption, pollution, female harrassments, female foeticide etc. reaching great heights, I strongly feel that India cannot be developed till 2020.
