The Fourth Estate Is Doing Its Job. Why Are You Worried Mr. Trump? Questions Ayera.

Donald Trump has accused the media of a 'disgusting and corrupt' coverage of his campaign. It is not ‘freedom of the press’ when newspapers are allowed to say and write whatever they want even if it is completely false, he alleged. Your views...

I partially agree with the sentiments expressed by Mr Trump since the media always exaggerates every situation to have a superior stand. However, we cannot entirely blame the media since Donald Trump has ideologies that are in stark contrast from the ones of other leaders, and he is usually loathed by the public.

What Mr Trump needs to understand is that the responsibility of the Fourth Estate is to communicate facts to the public. That is exactly what the media has been doing, showing the world the true side of certain 'corrupt and disgusting' politicians. Therefore, his allegations are completely baseless.

If Trump is entitled to say what he wants without giving a second thought to how his words are going to affect others, how can he blame the media for being ‘corrupt’ when it comes to their reportage? As an individual, he has the right to express his opinion, but he is no authority on the media.

With most of the polls favouring Hillary Clinton, it seems Donald Trump is feeling the heat. No wonder, he is passing the buck on the media, which I feel is completely unfair. The fourth estate has been doing its job well-  It has been reporting in the right perspective. Rather than blaming the media, Trump should concentrate on his job and refrain himself from giving controversial statements from time to time.

If Trump has the right idea about the definition of "free speech", then how does he has the right to state derogatory comments about communities like Islam, Mexican-Americans etc. without checking his facts and saying fake things about them?

I partially agree with Mr. Trump . Forth Estate should always keep in mind that they are human and peace order of the world should be their priority , should not interfere in the private life of people , they can bring awareness among people in many things like how to save children from religious fanaticism , can educate people with the ways what people can do to bring down corruption and build up good government .

I agree with you Mr. Donald Trump. You are right media always doesn''t tell the truth. What they see and hear they make a mixture of those things. Out of them some may not be true. We all have the freedom of speech but they misuse this freedom (right).

Onkarpreet Bhavan Vidyalaya

I partially agree with what Mr. Trump says.

Mr Trump is absolutely right when it comes to the media overexaggerating even insignificant facts. But it also shows how Trump is trying to brush the media off his back when they try to reveal some facts that can damage his reputation.

Surely Trump wants to hide something from the public.

I agree the media has been misusing its freedom......from uselessly harping about the second world war to demonizing characters of certain people and also acting as a hindrance in national security -media has been doing wrong

Aryan Kumar INDIARAPURAM PUB SCH INDIRAPURAM GZ

Trump''s probably worried cos any piece of controversial thing said is highlighted by the media. For example, Amir Khan''s statement on intolerance was highly exaggerated in the media. They do not give equal importance to all pieces of news - They highlight what we might find negative. However, any politicians who like to be the headlines by their unique views should not criticise media.
