Should Every Policy Be Discussed On App?

PM Modi had asked people to directly convey their views to him on demonetisation via his App. The response was huge. Should he make it a regular exercise from now?

Using the app to express grievances has been extremely effective. By using technology wisely, Modi is trying to let people have their say and getting feedback on the recently-implemented demonetisation scheme. It will be a good move for the future as well.

It’s good to have a hands-on PM. The huge response on the recent demonetisation issue clearly suggests that people want to talk directly to the PM. Using an app to convey people’s woes is actually a good idea that will assist the government to identify loopholes and resolve issues.

Delara Banaji, class XII, Mount Carmel, Ahmedabad

Use of the app to address demonetisation problems will have some shortcomings. Uneducated people, labourers and vegetable vendors might not be able to convey their message.

Yes, everything should be discussed on the app as it would help make people aware about very decision taken. This is evident by the huge response by people on the app.

Dhruvi Moliya Hillwoods school

With the development of technology we should but still there are many who does not/cannot afford smartphones or android phones .

MANAS KUMAR BAL BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (PITAM PUR

Indeed! A very good idea by our Prime Minister for keeping the Indian spirits high and maintaining faith at the time when we are going through a drastic change. This platform will make a direct connection between common man and the P M where one will be able to place problems and seek solutions and support for it, while also giving constructive suggestions to government to reduce inconvenience. This shows that our PM has the openness and audacity to face criticism and capacity for listening.

Yes, this will be very effective for the people of India.they could either send their grievances or their positiveness trough the app. it is helpful and the last but not the least he has really promised us of a digital India! Dishita Baliar Singh, class VIII-A,the global edge school, madhapur

In my opinion, discussing issues on app is a good idea as it is impossible for all the citizens of India to talk to the PM face-to-face. Through the medium of this app, they can discuss and ask questions about everything they want to know. And people will also be able to get their queries clear for effectively.

Heenal.Amit.Shah Sindhi Model Sr Sec school

This is one of the best way to interact with many citizens in an inexpensive and most importantly without any partial review about a particular policy. However, this may not reach all the citizens thus the very motive of accessibility to whole nation ain''t possible.

Vishakha Bhalla BOSCO SR.SEC.SCHOOL( PASCHIM VIHAR)

As our P.M. Modi wants to make our country as digital India, so this move is a very good move and a great steps towards digital India, huge number of people can communicate to our Prime Minister by this app method.

Pankhuri Sharma ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN

Demonetisation has been a big move for the country. The PM''s one-on-one policy focuses on the well-informed middle class population. India has about 37% of the world''s illiterate people and, hence, their feedback and interests matter too. While the app is a great step to enhance transparency but other chunks of population should not be neglected.

Emily Liz Gilbert CHAVARA INTERNATIONAL ACADEMY

I think it is a great way to communicate to the common people. But there should be another method to communicate important information to people less fortunate and who don not know how to use modrn technology.

Sachika Lala BGS National Public School

Yes, every policy should be discussed and debated over in the App. It will help the PM to know how citizens feel about anything, if they will face any problems or whether it will be supported by the larger public. It will help the citizens too as they also will become aware of the new policies and will also be partially included in the decision making.

Srividya AIR FORCE SCHOOLYEL

Whatever the government takes decisions, it has to be discussed in the Parliament, as everyone''s views are equally important and useful and can not be neglected.Yes,it is very well justified that PM should react positively towards the matter

Ojas Bisht ST. PETER SR. SEC. SCHOOL

Of course! yes, every policy should be discussed on the app. it would help people and government as well to understand the need. Also by discussing on the app government may get lots of better ideas, and which would help them to make policy more effective and more friendly for the common man. This will lead to a more healthier and effective way of interaction with Public.

The though put up by our prime minister is appreciatable . Public opinion is of grave importance .The Namo App can give a good idea of public opinion but only till some extent. Majority of Indians don''t use this app , especially the poor . Public situation should be analysed to see the effects of the policy on the public rather than actually determining the policy with a few opinions .

Sarthak Chittawar Deens Academy

Definetely, If it is for good of Democracy & the Country. People will be able to convey their views on the making of different laws. But, people without smartphones might not be able to have access to these apps. In my opinion, the government should first introduce cheap smartphones with basic accessibilities.

Bhavana Jaison Atomic Energy Central School No 2

Yes , This will give a chance for the common people to interact with their representatives.

Yashita Nagpal BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

Use of technology for this purpose would be a great idea but people from poor and backward classes will still not be able to convey their messages to our P.M. So, anyother innovative idea can also be given a thought because people who suffer are mostly poor and needy.

Harini.V Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Yes, directly contacting the people is the best way to reveal the support and ideas of common people in a democratic country.

If everything is dicussed with the people, the opposition parties cannot fight against the policies of the ruling party, unless people oppose it.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

I agree with our honourable PM sir. It''s actually a small fraction of people who are acting as devil''s advocate. Almost all the people are supporting this big move. Indians are ready to accept this change for better. And PM wants people''s views especially the youth regarding the second step of curbing corruption via the app.

KAVYASRI R M Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Yes it is a good move by our PM.Discussion with the people directly through apps is appreciable and people also have showed a great response to this digital scheme.Yet uneducated people and people below poverty line will not be able access this source.

PRERNA JOSHI MAYUR PUBLIC SCHOOL(PATPATGANJ)

well, politics indirectly should mean transparency...and introduction of app for this purpose is doing immense good to people...since people today are so called ''addictive'' to technology..so using that same technology to make them aware and raise support for programmes in their favor is an excellent step towards getting success.

JIYA TOMAR B G S NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

It is a good idea which can be beneficial for both the citizens who can express their concerns on certain issues, appreciate new policies, give advice as well as play an integral role in the govt.''s functioning. This would be way better than writing lengthy letters and petitions to the admin. departments or the govt. as it would reduce both time and effort.

Sajal Jain BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

Through Apps, he would be able to know the views of only those who have smartphones and out of those who are the supporters of Modi. If a person is not then why he will have the app installed in his phone. So this idea of discuusion on policies will remain restricted to only some part of the society and that is not enough.

Harsh Dhiraj RAMJAS PUBLIC SCHOOL(PUSA ROAD)

Yes.

Jessica Kabuli CARMEL CONVENT SCH SEC 9 CHD

It is a wise decision to discuss all plans and policies on the App, post making it legal. In a country like India where we have the right to voice our opinion, sharing our views on certain plans and policies may be a feedback for the government and could help telling the ruling party of the pros and cons of the plan faced by the common man. For the fact that some people do not have access to the App, we must not kill the chance of the others to opine their minds.

V.Ananya D.A.V. Public School

Yes , every policy must be discussed on the app . This will enable them to have a direct contact with the people of the country and also get a clear idea about what needs to be done next .

Shankhanil Paul ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN

It will be a great. If the policy of the biggest democracy are discussed in app then. This will help the society as the dealing with corrupt MLA or MP will be reduce. Citizen''s will be more happy as in the decision making they will de directly participating.

Afsha Saiyed PADUA HIGH SCHOOL-MANKHURD

I don''t think so !

Mageshwaran Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Every policy should be discussed in the app as the youngsters can give marvellous ideas for the betterment of nation''s development.

Aditya Bakshi J.M. INTERNATIONAL SCH00L

Yes before making a big move it is important to get the views of public is the one who has either the benefit or has to suffer

Dinesh Sharma Govt. Boys secondary school

Yes , using the app for discussing policies will help people to convey their suggestion and it is also good for our prime minister as he will be able to know that how people thought about his policy , but the policy should not be conveyed only in the app it should also be conveyed through news, newspapers etc. so that poor people can know the policy

Bhubhrat Beria Witty International School

Yes, mobile apps are easily accessible by all and it will also promote digital India. This is a great step taken by our PM!

Swaleha Ansari Padua High School , Mankhurd

Its a very great thing to discussed talks on app and we can discusse all thing. We can talk freely on app as we are not scared from PM Modi.

Mehek Sayyed Padua High School , Mankhurd

Yes!!This would be the correct decision for my sake as becoz everyone can be aware of what type''s of problem people are facing NowADay''s and also what type of PM or other Gov-Officer are giving. And also it will show that how much they are doing thier duty or only saying....

MAYANK GUPTA K.D.B. PUBLIC SCHOOL

it would be a gud move.
