If guilty people are let off easily, they will commit more and more crimes. I f there is a death penalty, people stop to think before they do something wrong.

Death penalty should never be abolished because in our country death penalty is not given for the people who commit much crimes. If this be abolished then our country will be a country with many culprits. So as a citizen of our country,I don''t think this is a right move.

Death penalty should not be abolished totally. Instead, the case of the accused should be looked into deeply. And if death penalty is necessary, it should be sentenced to the accused. Another advantage of this is that other culprits will think twice before committing another crime.

Death penalty should not be abolished Because the criminals who convict rape and murder deserve greater punishment. In the Example of Nirbhayas case, the criminals deserved deadth

No. Death penalty shouldn''t be abolished because if death penalty wouldn''t be there our country will face more corruption, communalism, regionalism, etc.If the crime increases our country won''t develop. Therefore I don''t think that death penalty shouldn''t be abolished.

I strongly feel that death penalty should be abolished because it is a too very easy let go for the criminals because death is the pain of one time whereas if they are sentenced to life imprisonment their whole life is in pain. for vey severe criminals they should be tortured on a regular basis so that they should understand the severeness of their crime.

SUBHADRA J K V TIRUMALAGIRI

Anyone can escape from prison. Anyone. Justice for the victims and kill the killers. Society needs protection from these barbarians. Life Without Parole or LWOP is not a justification and a replacement for the death penalty. It costs more for life in a prison than 10 years and a lethal injection. Say no to the liberal left do-gooders.

VIDYA GAKHAR G.D. GOENAKA PASCHIM VIHAR

Death penalty should definitely not to be abolished. If it would be abolished them people won''t even think once before commiting any kind of crimes. If this would be abolished then we would see a totally different phase of our country which no one actually wanted to. It will rise in more and more criminals. Many lives would be ruined. As a concerned citizen I am against this move.!

If the death penalty is abolished then the crime rates will increase. People will continue committing the crime because they will be able to find a way out of it. The people will rethink the consequences before committing a crime.

it depends on the conditions.

Amartyanil Chattopadhyay B.D.M. International

I think that death penalty should be abolished because it is a violent move. Just as Martin Luther King Jr. said that only light can drive out darkness whereas darkness cannot, similarly death is not the solution. A person can be turned to a good one by counselling. Also, we cannot have peace by giving death penalty to a criminal. It is also seen that in countries where there are no death penalty, there are less crime rates. So we should treat the prisoners like this.
