PM Said MPs Found Absent In Parliament May Not Get Tickets. Good Move?

I agree with him wholeheartedly. If you are doing a job, you should do so with utmost dedication and be committed to it whatsoever the circumstances are. The first thing is that the MPs should have a sense of responsibility. They should be committed. Getting tickets or not, the decision lies with the government.

In my point of view his decision is absolutely correct. If one is holding a position, one should be responsible enough to let others know that he or she deserves it!

I am definitely in favour of the PM''s stand . This will inculcate a sense of responsibility within the MPs . Moreover , they have to understand that if they have been asigned such high designations , it''s their duty to do it without failing and be regular in their work.

This call by PM Modi seems to be firm and a wake up call for all the MP''s as they will now fear for the tickets for their next election. This will not only ensure that the minimum quorum is fulfilled, but will also make sure that MP''s will become more serious about their work and responsibilities towards the nation.

really its a direct and strict move . a step to make a workaholic and hardworking india one should be aware of duties and responsiblities discharged to him/her

Pratham Shah New Horizon Public School Airoli, Navi Mumbai

This should be a wise decision. These MPs should not get tickets for next elections. If they don''t have regular attendance they are useless to be in the post of MP. It is like you don''t want to study and you want to be a topper in your examinations. If there is no action taken against it then there would be a day when there would be just 2 or 5% of members present in the Parliament. I think PM Modi should make the Rules more strict.

A.FAZIL MOHAMED Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

The decision of PM is unquestionable, because an MP is rooted to work for his/her constituents, work with parliament and for their political party. They take a serious responsibility on the whole, so their absence is not fair.So the move by PM is absolutely correct.

SPARSH DELHI PUBLIC SCHOOL(VASUNDHRA)

Yes according to me it is a good move as parliament is the place where the MPs discuss the problem of the locality which they are representing. Also issues of the nation are discussed there. If the MPs are not present in the parliament session they won''t be able to present the problems of their locality hence the problems won''t be resolved and the MP which can''t resolve the problem of the locality, can also not resolve the problem of the nation. Hence, they have no right to get ticket.

Akhilesh Rawat Army Public School Clement Town

Yes , It is a good move but surely a necessity for Modi government . I think because of the greed to get tickets MPs would definitely come to their temple (Parliament) and will definitely do something to make our nation go ahead.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

I strongly agree with him. Being a part of the Indian Legislature, one should have a sense of responsibility towards his/her duties. Parliament sessions are not meant for gigantic hoaxs of absence.

Antara Bose Shri Shikshayatan School

Yes it is a good move...if the MPs are not punctual and responsible enough they do not deserve to get into that position

Shankhanil Paul ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL DHAULA KUAN

Yes. It is correct stand thaken by PM Modi . people should treat govt office as corporate office where if you don''t show output you have no place in organisation.

Anirudh.R BMN public school

It may or may not be good because we can''t expect that all the politicians are currepted and if any of the MP is absent doesn''t mean that he is last there may be any other family problems too or he may be not well so I think this dession may be good if all the MP are corrupted .

Bhavana Jaison Atomic Energy Central School No 2

Good move . We are fortunate to have a PM like Narendra Modi. He is a person who believes in action than giving promises.

Ria Singh JM International School

Yes. I do agree with this move of Modi because absentism can really be dangerous and unwanted when such discussions and decisions are to be taken.

Mir Sardar Ali NOBLE SCHOOL ALIPUR KOLAR

we take elections for our work, but if we don''t do work after getting voted is not good.It is the good move taken by respected PM Modi,I respect this move with whole heart

12.8K SHARES In his sternest comments yet on absenteeism among BJP MPs in Parliament, PM Narendra Modi on Thursday put the members on notice, hinting they could not take things for granted when it comes to the next Lok Sabha election. It is definitely a great call from the PM of the nation and i am in favour of it . One who is not dedicated to his job does not hold the right to have the ticket for the next elections. Now the ministers will understand the value of the position.

TANISHKA SINGH CMA, Ankleshwar

Yes, I agree with it as if the government takes this decision, the MPs will realise the value and responsibilities of their post, and will be present in upcoming days. If one is doing some task, he should complete it with full concentration, dedication and give his best. It would be a grateful chance for the development of our nation, and the wake up call for the government.

Krutika Agrawal The Millennium School

An excellent move! The MP''s benefits all the facilities that are provided to them by the countries wealth but at the time of work, they are vanished. These people are reluctant to work but still enjoy all the advantages provided to them. Instead of these people, some deserving people should be appointed who are really worth using the resources of our nation. I agree to the decision of our honourable PM, the irregular MP''s should be fired off as soon as possible.

Avanti S Joshi ROYAAL WORLD SCHOOL ROYAAL WORLD SC

I agree with this surely. Member of Parliament must perform their duties properly . then and then only they should be given next opportunities . We elect members trusting that they will work for us . There must be some check on what they really do.

souptiki nandi ADARSH PUBLIC SCH CBLK

The decision is absolutely correct. Its necessary for one to understand the importance of regularity and serve what people expect. Whatever one does shows how deserving he/she is. If one is not faithful and honest to his/her responsibility, a strict action isn''t something incorrect.
