Panchami: Should Trains Serve Better Food?

Why can't the worlds largest railway network provide good food to its passengers? Isn't a shame on us Indians? The accidents caused due to unhygenic food in the railways is touching the sky? Every year a lot of children die because of the contaminated food they would have had in the trains. Is it justified to put the life of a citizen at stake for the politics we play?

Let us protest for a 'Behtar Railway'. Your view?

Surely! The India is the world''s largest Railway network,Serving hygienic food to its vast number of passengers is a necessity as the standards of the train is judged by the the food it serves. It is very saddening to think about the number of deaths it has caused to our children,The Indian railways need to get better in order to raise its standard and strengthen the trust of Indian over its railways.

It''s high time that such accidents should be stopped because this issue not only affect the life of a passenger but also can prove to be a challenge for the tourism department. As 60% of the total population mostly prefer train journey, it''s necessary that the railway department take the needful action. Caring for the passenger must live given the first priority and not the money income.

You are right . The shatabdi express food is the worst . The chapatti''s are dried and you cant keep the dhal in your mouth . There have been many complaints against the canteen of the railways . I think government should take a strict action in this .

It''s their duty! We pay our money and they should provide us hygenic food. Not only that, we deserve a comfortable journey.Toilets should be maintained properly. Each time we travel, we''ve to start our journey sooner, find a good restaurant then board the train. That''s too long. Railway department should provide good food! Must have! You are right Panchami!!!

India has the largest railway network in the world.but what about the passenger''s convenience??Here comes a big question. Hygienic food has to be provided, because a journey should not spare lives.

I know that the food served in most of the trains in the world''s largest railway is not good. There should be a better service for food in all the railways

According to me the incharge of this food staff is GM and railway Minister they should be attentive to their responsibilities. So their will be chances of decreasing the number of this decease attracted to peoples and other public and the number of death will be also reduced. So if,I am right so this will be enough to understand to it.

With IRCTC reaching new milestones in several dimensions it''s now important for them to improve the food catering system in Railways. Better and Healthy food will not only attract more commuters to the railways but enhance their hospitality.
