Japan has backed India in the Doklam Issue.Your Take?

Japan and India have always had strong bilateral relations, be it in trade, culture or military. The fact that the Japanese have supported us in the Doklam standoff is not really surprising as Japan is one of the few nations in the world which believes that the growing power of China in this region must be curbed.

The Doklam issue can affect the stability of the whole region and should be resolved peacefully. China has several border disputes with different nations and further aggression can even lead to war. Japanese support will strengthen India's claim and may lead to a quicker agreement.

With China's growing prowess in the India-Pacific region, the Japanese trade may be subject to the fancies of China. Since India is the dominant naval power in the region, Japan finds India to be a profitable proposition. That could be why Japan is supporting India over the issue.

India and Japan both realise that china is escalating the situation unilaterally. Japan is savvy enough to take this opportunity to bolster the Indo-Japanese relationship for good.

There isn''t any doubt that the whole world is standing by us.And that one person who has brought us this support from all over the globe is our very own Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.We dont need to worry!Jai Hind.

On Doklam, if India backs the troops then taking the advantage, China can attack and conquer that area. If it goes like this, soon China will ask India to back the troops from New Delhi also. The international bodies should take some action on it.

As India and Japan are in the G4 nations group and last year also signed a civil nuclear deal and various other agreements to galvanize their trade relations, Japan coming into support of India is not uncommon as the wrong always should be sacked. Japan supporting India is really good.

It is as simple as Japan realizes that China is escalating the issue , as well as it was the one to start the issue unilaterally . Moreover Japan being the possessor of very strong bilateral ties with India from the past it looks upon this issue as an opportunity as a path to strengthen the relationship for the well being of both the nations .
