Is Setting Up Central University For Disabled A Good Move?

The Centre plans to set up a Central University that will cater to the needs of disabled students across the country....

This is a great move by the Centre. Having need-based educational institutions for the specially-abled will help them to get exclusive care and extra attention which they probably would not get if they were admitted to a regular school. Also, the institution would provide a congenial environment where the students will not feel discriminated against.

Rishi Balse, class VII, Campion School, Colaba, Mumbai

It is not always possible to teach disabled and regular students together under the same roof as the former needs special guidance and time. Having a Central University exclusively for these students will help to impart quality education to them. Ultimately, they can contribute to the nation just like any other citizen.

Srijita Chakraborty, class X, BDMI, Kolkata

I think it's a great move to create a divyang-friendly environment in our country – something that has been needed for long. Establishing this university will bring all the divyangs into the mainstream, which will help them to lead an independent life without depending on regular institutions for education.

Its really a great move.

Sandhya Srinivas TRIVENI PUBLIC SCHOOL

great move

It''s indeed a nice move. It isn''t possible to teach the disabled students in the same manner the others are . They reuire a bit more care and attention than we do. It would help them lead their own life and be independent. It would prove beneficial in future for the country as these disabled ones after having knowledge and knowing what to do.

maithri ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL BOLARUM

It is a really a great move👌

From the starting, the disabled are tortured and taken benifit from. They were denied education and this move is probably the best move that is carried out by the centre to increase the freedom and dignity of disabled people, who have been disable without their wishes.

Abhirami Gangadharan AMRITA VIDYALAYAM, PERAMBAVOOR

Its really a great move. Each and every person has the right to get educated. institutions specially them will help them to get new friends. Its not sympathy that we should show them, its empathy. We should actually respect them as they are doing many great things which we are not doing though we have the ability. They should not be called disabled. They should be called specially talented students.

Hamdan hussain St Lawrence convent school

Yes! A great move because in several conditions physically challenged people are insulted because they can not learn but yes This move can fulfill the education of differently abled people

Shubham Bansal AMITY SCHOOL (GURGAON SEC_46)

it is a good move indeed.......

Archisha Ghosh VIDYA VALLEY

This is a smart move because not all students are capable like the others. The disabled need extra patience and attention to teach them. They do not understand terms in the same speed and manner like others.

Amartyanil Chattopadhyay B.D.M. International

It is really a great move. According to the right to education act, everyone irrespective of race or abilities should get the rights to get proper education. There should be more schools and universities built for the disabled.
