Is It Time To Give A Funeral Oration To Books In The Digital Age?

There is a certain irreplaceable feeling you get when you open a book which cannot be reproduced in any other way. Although the advent of the tech age ushered in the concept of e-books, I still feel reading a paper book is much more fun. Literary fests will encourage the youth to read and will surely inculcate appreciation for good prose and poetry in them.

I never prefer reading e-books! The smell of traditional books can never die. Though technology pave way for many discoveries and makes it easy for development it cannot beat paper books!

Yes, I agree with it, as internet is most important and needed thing in today''s worlds. All the information available in books is present on internet also Reading-lovers can read books online. So, if books are not there ,there won''t be any effect on Human life uptill internet is present.

Pragya RUKMINI DEVI PUB. SCHOOL(PITAMPURA)

Reading a book is always the best option. On the phone we can get distracted by the notifications but a book keeps us grossed and sometimes we even start imaging ourselves as the protagonist.

No, internet can never replace books. Reading a book verbally and turning each page with that gentle excitement and actually feeling each word deep inside me is like magic. Also, when i stare at the collection of my books, i feel more alive. None other thing can replace the books. They are love!

I feel that reading original books is better than e - books as people who love reading always prefer normal books e-books cannot beat the normal books !!!!!!!

Books cannot be digital.I do not offend anyone but paperback books(real books) have the texture, feel, smell and apperance which a digital book(e book) cannot have.Books have not and will not lose their significance even in this digital age.Nothing can be good as reading a physical book!

Mukesh Choudhary ACHARYA SHREE VIJAY VALLABH HIGH SCHOOL

digital techology has certainly had a profound effect on the traditional book publishing and retailing industries, but has it also given the book a new lease of life but contrary to expection ,the printed book is still surviving
