In the present technological world nothing is impossible and the govt of Kerala had enough technology and information to predict and prevent the immense disaster. With the development of nations with modern flood prevention policies and techniques the authorities of Kerala should have been more accurate and it cannot be negotiated that there were enough sanctions from the Central govt to improvise the current condition but the govt hasn''t made any development in its methodology.

Kerala is a well developed state. I suppose it might not have expected such a damage able calamity. According to the forecast the Keralaites might have expected heavy rains but not such damageable floods . In 50 years Kerela has faced such floods for the first time. In my opinion Kerala government is not to be blamed. They have tried their best to tackle these floods.

Kerala''s government definitely should have taken steps because floods happen every time when it rains. So with the idea of this, the government should have taken steps before hand.

Nature is something which donot take the order of human beings. In todays world of science humans have failed to utilise their powers over nature . Only thing is that they can secure themselves by moving their steps backwards. So we had to take up a preventive measures before the loss of lives and property.Kerela government should release the water from dams before so that to keep a balance from the water being overflown during rainy seasons.
