Cinema Brings Nations Together: Amitabh Bachchan

Cinema brings communities together as it is a combined form of expression. The actors and directors participate in bringing cultures, lifestyles and traditions of various places and people under one banner and one show. The narratives of their stories, include values, education and behavioural influences.

Cinema unites people regardless of their nationality, the Oscars and film fests across the globe being best examples. One thing that binds Indians and Pakistanis despite their many rivalries is the love for movies. Directors often work on universal themes.

Cinema breaks all discriminatory barriers by offering a common platform to all. People from rival nations may have the same taste in films, and this commonality can help develop understanding. Some narratives are so powerful that they evoke the same reaction from those belonging to different cultures.

Well said by Bachchan sir that cinema brings nation together weather it''s a social issue or telling a real life story cinema plays an important role it''s very difficult to imagine our life without cinema.

Krutika Agrawal The Millennium School

I do not agree to this fact completely. There are many instances where the the incidents films and cinemas lead to disputes between people from different communities and religion. Also, all the movies do not depict reality. Making the virtual world the reality, the people always make mistakes which is again not a positive sign for the people of different backgrounds.

Aryaman Kumar Ryan International School

Very true since cinema has no barriers and is enjoyed by all countries alike.

I dont think so.The recent padmavat film caused problems between the different sections of the society even though these problems were irrelevant.

Pratyusha Satish Rao NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Cinema brings people together. But people interpret things in other ways sometimes. Cinema infact aims to entertain as well as to teach cetain sensitive issues in such a way that it does not provoke the populace. The mistake of one director cannot defeat the reality as in the Padmavat issue. Why create unnecessary stories which will provoke the populace. People should know about the populace and what it wants. Also, plots of diff movies should not be taken seriously. Only the ideals be taken.
