Are Indians Films More Detailed Now Than Earlier?

Filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli feels industry people are putting in a lot of effort to detailing, and calls it a "significant change" in the cinema world.

"We are putting much more effort in the detailing and the characterisation and the physical things like costumes, sets or the lighting. And that has been quite a significant change across all the industries," Rajamouli told IANS.

Rajamouli attained global fame as the creator of the "Baahubali" universe -- which went on to become India's biggest blockbuster with worldwide earnings of over Rs 900 crore ($137 million). It took about four years to helm the film.

In this changing world, the Bollywood has also changed a lot and the most notable change is detailing of films. From the start of filmy universe, detailing has never got much attention but now, it''s significance has increased a lot in past few years which also played a key role in the success of the "Bahubali series".

Yes I feel that Indian cinema has evolved a lot over the past decade and with this change filmmakers are giving more importance to detailing which is what Indian cinema lacked .Detailing considerably improves the quality of the film making it an instant hit amongst the masses

The making of the film greatly reflects the director''s thought process, his creativity and imagination. So , the much taken care part the detailing part enhances the overall presentation of the film.

Yes indeed. Not only Bahubali is a great example of this but for instance, Dhoom 3 too. In the making of the song "Malang" from the movie Dhoom 3 it is seen how people are working on the very minute details of Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif''s costume.

Though Baahubali achieved a lot of fame and respect for its picturisation, these industries should be given credit for that. But I believe that the content of the films is deteriorating which is the most important factor why no one is liking to go to cinema..

With technological advancements and increasing competency day in and day out, the filmmakers are under immense pressure to make an impactful and a near perfect film. This involves more computer graphics, attention seeking storyline, efficient crew etc. There has been a significant change so far and this will continue. Another reason being, the high audience''s expectations. They want the films ablazed with every element, be it drama, romance, comedy etc, with the script being highly logical.

The way films are being directed is changing by years. When I see 60 - 80''s movies at times burst into laughter. Because they were so sincere but that''s new for me. I really appreciate those days'' films but nowadays films are more detailed.

Yes, the details that we can observe in today''s Bollywood films are more intricate and they make the whole movie and its scenes more appealing seemingly realistic to viewers. The leap in the detailing is huge from the olden days to now. It is definitely significant change as people will expect to see even better detailed work now that they have seen the potential in the Bollywood industry and the quality of movies will go on to increase.

There has been a changing trend in the representation of Indian films through the years. The way movies were made in the 1950s is completely different from the way it is done in the twenty first century.. For instance each and every character in baahubali is clearly explained . The box office of baahubali shook the whole world .

Yes, more detailing is provided in films these days. This can be proven by the duration of the films. Also, this is a significant change. But, not all the movies, are providing us with positive detailings that are needed for the goodwill of youth. More emphasis should be given on positive aspects. If the detailing is given on more inspirational and motivational content then we can expect something better. Otherwise detailing on negative things can spoil the youth.

The Indian films are detailed now than earlier. For instance we can see that each other character in baahubali is clearly shown

Yes it is true!!! Because Bahubali is one of the best movies nearly in all languages in history of India. Film makers are trying to make movies associated to kings and kingdoms. It is a great news for the Indian film industry.

, Over the years film detailing which includes location, graphics ,editing have significantly improved with the use of latest technology. This is definitely a change in the cinema world. The efforts put in small details in a biopic movie like Dangal, MS Dhoni The untold story to bring out real story to the public. Movies like Bahubaali where there is extensive use of Arri Alexa XT camera , the film’s splendid frames , the colour tones as well the marvelous gigantic natural scenes and the ma

It''s really true that Indians Films More Detailed Now Than Earlier because if we compare the films of 90s and the films now the films of now will be a lot better. today''s films can''t be compared with old films. Old films were whole based on one story where as in today''s films there are very turning points in a movie. It''s even difficult to understand a movie of old times but if see today''s films for example bahubali 2 it''s fantastic and easy to understand.
