Pet Laws Are Adequate

There are many laws that are in place for the safety of both pets as well as humans. Here are a few of those with my opinions on each law:

1. The introduction of any sort of a ban on residents keeping a pet cannot be introduced even if majority is in favour of such a ban.

a. My Opinion: Yes. Dog barking is not a valid reason to impose any pet-related ban.

2. Banning pets is direct interference with fundamental freedom guaranteed to citizens.

a. My Opinion: This law ensures that any family living in an apartment can adopt a pet, even if other residents of the society don’t favour one.

3. Owners should prevents their pets being teased by people. This angers the animal causing untoward instances for no fault of the animal.

a. My Opinion: This law is helpful for both – the pet and the victim, as teasing provokes an animal to react aggressively and violently.

4. Courts believe that dogs are like family and must have access to lifts in any society or community.

a. My Opinion: This law ensures easy transport of dogs.

5. Since there is no central law requiring cleaning of pet excreta, one can request pet owners to clean the same.

a. My Opinion: This ensures cleanliness of public places and should be done by pet owners.

6. These are some of the laws that are in place for pets. They ensure the protection of pets and they make sure that pets aren’t a nuisance for neighbors.

a. My Opinion: I think that these laws are more than adequate for pets and their owners.
