Live and Let Live!

Sonal Srivastava: How can we forgive someone who has hurt us badly?

Upadhyay Nayansagar: When anger is destroyed, forgiveness arises in us. When ego is diminished, then humility appears. Just like dark clouds obscure the shining sun, similarly, anger and ego, like dark clouds, hide the Atman. Forgiveness means to remove attachment, hatred, and desires, from your mind. It’s about giving respect to others like you respect yourself. The highest form of forgiveness is when someone behaves badly with you and you, instead of reacting and seeking revenge, win over the offender with forgiveness and compassion.
