What Would These Characters Do In Real Life

We've all at some point or the other dreamt of being a heroine; the sort read in a book.
Wearing those beautiful clothes, hanging out with the super interesting fictitious people and being that woman who sparks the imagination of thousands, for all time. The important female characters in literature have such cachet, and while we'd love to swap places, we wonder what they would do if they were around, in real life, in 2017. Here's taking a dive into the world of make-believe, because why not!

Lady Macbeth

Much like she was back in the day, we bet Lady Macbeth would still be fighting for power. We can totally picture her in the White House, having managed to defeat Donald Trump!

Hermione Granger

We bet she'd have taken up the issue of women's rights and would be busy fighting the world for equal pay, and better safety. And also be best friends with Emma Watson.

Elizabeth Bennet

The beautiful Elizabeth would have by now, become a diva in Hollywood!

Arya Stark

Arya is a tough heroine for sure and we bet in 2017, she would be having her own business empire, featuring on the TIME magazine most-powerful women list, and feared by most of her contemporaries.

Luna Lovegood

The carefree, hippie spirit that Luna is, we can see her at a beach home somewhere in Miami having her own healing centre perhaps?

Nancy Drew

Nancy would have her own detective agency by now, with branches in several countries, co-managed by good friends, Bess Marvin and George Fayne.

Matilda

Our favourite girl would have written a book or two by now, and she would be spending time with kids in her spare time, narrating stories and organising book drives.

Jo March
The smart, strong and impulsive girl would be a writer too who randomly takes off on an adventure to the other end of the world for a story.

Charlotte

Charlotte always loved animals and we bet in 2017 she has a pet clinic, a pet orphanage and about 21 different animals in her home.

Did we miss your favourite literary heroine? (Hint: Katniss or someone else)  Tell us what would the character be doing in the 21st century?
