Unplug Yourself From Online Addiction

The signs of Internet/social media addiction is easy to spot. It affects your life by making you less productive and you can see work staying piled up while you surf and post. This also affects your family as conversations with them become shorter and sparse – surely, not a happy space to be in. Worry not and follow these steps.

Keep an hour for outdoor activities
Wherever you stay, whatever may be the weather condition in your city, outdoor activities such as playing in the field, skating, running are any time better than being glued to gadgets. Invite your classmates home, and play hopscotch, Frisbee, etc.

Limit gadget time
Gadgets have become an important part of our lives today so much so that they are indispensable. Therefore, not using them is not an option. However, limit the time you spend on social media through your gadgets and you will find yourself with more time to revise your chapters and socialise with family and friends.

Become a part of group play
Technology comes with a price. It makes life convenient but also encourages lethargy. To not fall in this vicious trap, organise group play at your home, in your backyard, or at your friend’s place. Make real friends and spend real time with them instead of relying only on virtual friendships.

We can unplug ourself from online addiction by taking up a hobby and working on it instead of wasting our time on social media and playing video games. We can unplug ourselves by making a scheduled time for all the online managements, video games and social medias. Making a routine in our life is very important as there should be a time management for all the work we do in our daily routines. We should also first of all not divert our minds to this kind of society. Instead of playing video games, which weakens our eyesight we should play out with our own friends which will maintain our physical strength.
