Developing love for science

Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School organised a two-day science show and workshop on March 16 and 18. The main aim of this event was to teach students about the everyday use of basic science.

Called Edutainment, the event was organised in association with a Science Utsav. Events like edutainment encourage children to understand various questions and think logically, which make the learning process exciting and thought provoking. The objective of edutainment is to provide the right amount of theoretical understanding.

Such activities enable the learners to understand simple concepts and comprehend their execution and application. The school's target is to make learning an enriching and blissful experience.

The workshop helped strengthen the students’ cognizance. It breaks the limitations of routine work and gives occasion for innovative thinking. A series of various activities including oxygen foam, magic flasks, pressure push, balloon candy, hovering tissue and non-flammable currency note spread the magical fervour of science.

Students prepared their own lighting greeting card, harmonic sound and shock decorative model to take-away with them.  As many as 250 parents and nearly 315 students participated in this twoday event which was very positive.
