YPS Athletes Take Part In Cross Country Race

They ran as one, worked as a team and celebrated like a family. The inter-house cross country race, an annual feature at Yadavindra Public School, Mohali, was held in which students enthusiastically participated as well as cheered their house mates in this compulsory activity for classes VI-XII.  In the U-19 Samarth Sehgal and Jasnoor Kaur; in U-17 Nitya Ahuja and Sohani Attri; in the U-14 Daivik Sharma and Arshpreet Kaur while in the U-12 Kushagra and Kavineer won the gold in the boys and girls categories respectively. Aitchison House won the overall trophy followed by Tagore House and Ranjit House. The Milkha Singh Trophy was awarded to Samarth Sehgal while Jasnoor Kaur received the PT Usha Trophy for the best runner. From the junior wing Kuwar Pratap and Sarah Raizada from class IV and Gurtej Singh and Tamana from class V won the gold in their respective categories.
