Energetic Satluj Athletes Bag Medals At Sports Day

Sports Day of Satluj Public School, Senior Wing, Sector 4, Panchkula, was organised with great enthusiasm in the school ground. The programme began with classical invocation followed by the unfurling of the flag by Krit Serai, director-principal of the school. The house march past was well appreciated by all.
The meet which was declared open by the director-principal witnessed a cultural programme consisting of group songs and dance and an impressive PT drill presented by middle section students. Various track events were held and the winners were awarded gold, silver and bronze medals by co-principal Reema Serai. Trophies were awarded to the best athlete and house while participation certificates were given to all students.
In the 100 m race: Under 12 (girls): Payal, Sanjana and Urshita and in Under 12 (boys), Kavish, Aman and Aditya Bhardwaj were the winners. In Under 14 (girls & boys)Nishtha, Ishneet, Ruchi Chahal, Himanshu, Aditya Chaudhary and Dhir were the winners. In Under 19 (girls and boys) Aastha, Apurva, Aru, Ankush Deswal, Shivam and Ranvir Sharma were the winners.
In 200 m race: Under 12 (girls and boys) Payal, Anandini, Akshra, Kavish, Aman and Abhinav won the medals while in Under 14 (girls and boys): Nishtha, Simran, Ruchi Chahal, Himanshu, Harshit and Harkirat topped in the category. In Under 19 (girls and boys): Vandhita, Aastha, Garima, Ankush, Dilip and Shivam were the winners.
In 400 m race: Under 12 (girls and boys): Payal, Sanjana, Aishwarya, Aditya Bhardwaj, Aryan Kumar and Ritvik  and in Under 14 (girls and boys) Nishtha, Simran, Ruchi Chahal, Manan, Harshdeep and Aryan won the medals.
In Under 19 (girls and boys): Garima, Gagandeep, Diksha, Ashish Moun, Pardeep Poswal and Vinay Singh bagged the medals.
In Relay Race: Under 14 (girls and boys): Pankhuri, Saumya, Kashish, Simran, Aradhya, Ishita, Akshita, Sanskriti, Sakshi, Aditi, Akshita, Himanshi, Vaibhav, Vikramjeet, Harshit, Shivam, Bhavneet, Dhir, Divyansh, Surkhab and  Aditya, Harkirat, Shubh, Anuj brought laurels to their teams whereas in Under 19 (girls and boys):  Muskan, Vandita, Pratika, Angetina, Garima, Ramya, Amrit, Diksha, Aastha, Apurva, Tanishq, Ramnish, Vinaj, Sajal, Pardeep, Ankush, Ranvir, Varunjot, Namraj, Jotratan, Dilip, Ramandeep, Siddharth and Aryan made their respective teams proud.
