Alluring Dances By Kids At Annual Extravaganza Mesmerise All

The otherwise serene atmosphere of DC Model Sr Sec School, Sector 7, Panchkula, became vibrant when the students of kindergarten set the stage on fire on the occasion of their Annual Cultural Extravaganza “Tarang 2019”. It was a spectacular day when the students performed to the hilt which seemed to be at par with that of mature artists.
The function was graced by the benign presence of Sq Ldr KS Vashisht who presided over the cultural show. The chief guest was overwhelmed by the traditional welcome accorded to him by the students and teachers. The function commenced with the lighting of lamp and paying tribute to the founder of the school, MR Dass. The show began with stuti seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha which was followed by welcome dance by the students. Afterwards the playway kids performed on a beautiful song ‘Aaj hai Sunday’ and left everyone awestruck.
The achievements and important features of the school (school report) were highlighted through a power point presentation. Another performance that left the audience spellbound was a medley of folk dances where the tiny tots showcased their dancing skills and enthralled everyone with their perfection. Yet another attraction of the show was ‘Masti ki Paathshala’, wherein students of KG II showed the changing scenario of schools these days. Last but not the least, a musical masterpiece on the theme of save trees, not only entertained the guests but also gave a message on the importance of trees to conserve the environment for future times. Director BB Gupta, principal Usha Gupta were all in praise for coordinator, Deepika Bhardwaj and staff for the overall management and the untiring efforts of dance and music teachers who choreographed the colourful show.
