PS Geethanjali On Her Granny

Grandparents are a real boon to all of us. Their presence as a guide, a mentor and a selfless lover is felt by each and everypne. My granny is my biggest confidante, I go to her everytime I am stressed out. Trust me, they have a solution to each and every worldly problem.

I want to take this opportunity to thank my grandmorther for everything she has done for me. I really love you granny! Even though I don't get to spend time with her, she is always there for me. The little time I spend with her is precious for me.

My granny harbours no ill feelings towards anyone. The way she manages her relationship with people is very heartening. If a person has a problem, she would be the first one in the family to attend to that person. The other thing I adore about my grandmother is that she is really cool and optimistic about everything.

With her vast experience of life, Granny is capable of handling everything. I remember those days when my grandmother used to narrate mythological stories every night to me.Even now, she narrates folklore from her village.

There is only rule that we all must adhere to when we visit granny - to leave our gadgets behind. My grandmother knows each and everyone in her village and talks to everyone without any bias. She gives us interesting gossip too! I love spending time with her.
It would really be fun visiting her home every year for summer holidays. I speak to her everyday on phone.

Do you know she reads the Purana's everyday? She can chant all the slokas and she even goes to temple everyday for 2 hours: morning and evening! My grandmother is special.
