Best Yoga Poses For Students

Steps of Bhastrika Pranayama

1. Sit on the padmasana (lotus pose) with eyes closed.

2. Take a deep breath (inhale), filling the lungs with air.

3. Slowly and gently breathe out.

4. This inhaling and exhaling should take the same length of time — 2.5 seconds to breathe in and 2.5 seconds to breathe out.

5. While you breathe in, assume that you are taking in positive energy and vibrations, and you are being energised by them.

6. And when you breathe out, imagine that you are taking out all the toxins away from your body and mind (don’t try to hurry up your breathing as the entire impact is lost).
