7 Tips For Effective Exercising

Regular Exercise and physical activity are a great way to keep healthy, look younger and live longer.

It can help you to control your weight, trim your waistline, boost energy and lower your risk from serious diseases. It can also help relieve stress, anxiety & depression thus boosting your mood and promoting better sleep. What is perhaps the greatest advantage is that exercising improves your self-control and allows you to deal with life’s challenges in a healthy, positive way.

Regular Exercising Is Must

Regular exercising in a nutshell is highly beneficial, and the earlier you start, the more profound the benefits will be as you would be able to prevent or reduce several chronic diseases. Here are some tips which can enable you to stick to your resolution of exercising towards a healthy and happy body this year.

1.  Be Consistent

A consistent workout regimen reduces stress and increases your mental well-being.When you exercise with consistency, your muscles will develop gradually and your mind will experience reduced levels of stress and greater relaxation.

2. Follow an Effective Exercise Routine

The best coaching, training or diet plan doesn’t mean ANYTHING if you don’t actually follow through with it.

Start off with steps towards your health and fitness goals by following an Effective Exercise Routine whether it is for strength, weight loss, muscle gain, or just overall fitness.

3.  Make Your Exercise Plan Fit Your Life

The perfect exercise plan is as much an art as a science. Make an exercise schedule that you like and can follow regularly. Be truthful to yourself in how much time you can devote to this activity and make sure you stick to it.

Exercise doesn’t have to be an all-or-nothing proposition. Adding just a little physical activity to your weekly routine can have a profound effect on your mental and emotional health.

4.   Buddy System

Exercise partners provide a powerful combination of support, motivation and, in some cases, healthy competition. Focus on activities you enjoy and make exercising a social thing. Working out with others can lend a whole new meaning to exercising and make it something that you can look forward to.

A buddy can motivate you to do one more set, and push you when you want to give up, or when you are feeling hopeless.

5.  Set Realistic Goals and Record your progress

On a monthly basis, record your measurements and track your progress. Focus on short-term goals, and always ask yourself this question - Am I moving towards my goals?  Am I happy with the progress achieved?

If the answer is no, identify reasons why you’re not getting results and re-evaluate your exercise schedule.

6. Determine your weakest links and focus on them

It's human nature to gravitate towards the things we're good at and shy away from things that make us feel weak. Consequently, our strengths get stronger while our weaknesses get weaker, or at least they appear to be weaker compared to our strengths. Don’t neglect if you have a weak muscles, instead work harder on it to make it keep up with the rest of the body.

7.   Eat Well – Sleep Well

Healthy eating is not about strict dietary limitations, staying unrealistically thin, or depriving yourself of the foods you love. Eat the right foods at the right time so as to maintain a healthy weight as well as a sense of wellbeing. We all need a balance of carbohydrates, protein, fat, fiber, vitamins, and minerals to sustain a healthy body. So eating well should be an important component of your exercise program.

An average sleep between 8 to 10 hours a day is required to provide Muscular Recovery, Hormonal Balance, Emotional Balance, Physical Vitality and Greater Immunity for better body. Good quantity and quality of sleep, rejuvenate both body and mind for optimum performance during waking life.
