Saahil: Can Only Expensive Things Make You Happy?

In today's progressive world everybody strives for success. Every individual wants to do good in his life. People look up to you on the basis of how successful you are and judge you on the basis of that.

Amongst all of this we have forgotten how to stay happy. But firstly what is happiness? Happiness is something we seek for in order to make us feel better. This feeling keeps us motivated all through the day and staying happy benefits our health as well as helps us in working efficiently.

There is a different perception of happiness among people. Some find happiness in materialistic things, money and by buying expensive stuff and some tend to find it in small things and tend to remain happy for long.

People should understand that it's not always the expensive things that bring about happiness but enjoying and embracing the current moment and finding joy even in the smallest of things, events or occurrences give meaning to life. It is what defines life. Nowadays, people tend to get sad easily because of their fast paced lives and overall human beings are under a lot of pressure may it be exams, targets, or occupation and so on.

This takes a toll on us which leads to constant complacency about life, depression or even committing suicide. Instead we should learn to be optimistic and always keep a smile on our face no matter what the situation may be. People might judge you for always keeping a smile on your face and may even brand you as a 'non-serious person' or a person who does not really think of being successful in life.

But doing this will definitely give you the strength to tackle most of the problems. We should not care as to what people would think as it it's their habit to demoralise the person in front of them. There is nothing wrong in having an optimistic approach towards life as it lets you enjoy every single moment of your life. Staying happy has health benefits as well.

I don''t think that only expensive can make you happy. We can find happiness in every small moment of our life and enjoy it joyfully. We should remain happy all the time. Expensive things cannot make you happy for a long time. We should always try to cheer and motivate ourself. It will definitely help us to face many difficult situations of our life.

Well, conventionally the concept of money bringing happiness is from the point that money can buy any commodity a man might want. But after a lot of observation I believe that you only get the true happiness when you are with your friends whether you have money or not. Me and friend had the most fun when we were broke but still managed to enjoy a lot with the very little amount of money we had.
