Ritvik Asks Why Can't Money Buy Happiness?

The old adage goes something like this - money can't buy you happiness. But I have noticed in our day to day life that there are a few situations when this phrase is proved to be totally wrong.

Money helps us to come out of miserable situations in life. Imagine you are sad after a certain unfortunate event has occurred that day. Lo and behlod! You get a call from an authority saying that you have won a jackpot of Rs 1 crore!

Won't you be happy at that time and feel that you are at the top of the world? Even if emotions can't be bought by money but luxury, modern amenities and material possessions which are bought with money can bring us happiness.

The famous phrase needs to be redefined. What are your views ? Comment Below To Let Us Know

In today''s world money can surely buy happiness. We can do anything with money. Suppose a person is in depression and we give him/her a very expensive gift then he/she will surely become happy.

Well, in today''s materialistic world money can buy happiness. Nowadays people are more concerned about the possessions and hardly have any time to wonder about their fellow beings. Though internal happiness and contentment can be achieved only by the presence of one''s near & dear ones.

Harini MS NAGARJUNA VIDYANIKETAN

It is rather true that money can NOT buy happiness. Literally, happiness is abstract, it can''t be touched or felt. But if you look into the deep meaning and analyze what life and death really are, you''ll see that you come without money can go without it. Money is a luxury, not a necessity. Money can''t buy happiness, no matter how many luxuries it gives you.

Money can buy happiness. Imagine a starved person who has just got food. Imagine a blind seeing a ray of light. Imagine an underprivileged following his dream. Imagine an old person getting a support. What if I tell you that you were THE person who made this happen? Isn''t that eternal happiness? Yea, it is true that its not ALWAYS that money brings happiness but it still does.

Masoom Grover BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL (SWASTHYA VHR)

Money CAN buy happiness. If your happiness is a BMW, certainly money can do that but if your definition of happiness is PARENTS or PEACE, money won''t help much.

NAVYA MALHOTRA SWARAJ INDIA PUBLIC SCHOOL

you can buy anything in today''s world with money- from love to materialistic things

We need money to live. But we can''t live just to earn money. Money is just a thing. It doesn''t determine our happiness. In fact if you have more money, you are not actually happy. You are worried about the safety of it. So, its better to enjoy the present. We feel happy when we help others or when we do services for the needy

Kavisha Haswani Swaraj India Public School

Money can buy everything but only in terms of materialistic things.money can''t buy happiness. For eg if there is an accident of any of your family member (like-mom) and then even if the culprit gives you lakhs of money it won''t make you happy.

Himanshi Dhawan Saffron Public School

Money is something but not everything. I completely agree with this famous saying. Look, even today in this materialistic world everyone''s aim is to become settled and to fetch a handsome amount to lead a luxurious and respectful life. But what can we do with this amount? We can only buy temporary happiness from it which doesn''t last for a long time including beauty, youth, power etc.The permanent happiness cannot be achieved through it.

Abhishek Singh MAYUR PUBLIC SCHOOL(PATPATGANJ)

Something beyond the material world also exists. The material things like money can satisfy your material needs only but not the spiritual needs. A wealthy person may or may not have peace of mind and calmness in his or her life.

Anika.P Delhi Public School South-Bangalore

We generally in search of success, cannot see small things which can enlighten our mood. Also, there are many people who are distressed as in search of money, they forget what they have left behind. So, there should be a balance between them.

DISHA JAIN JAIN BHARATI MRIGAVATI VIDYALAYA

Money surely can''t buy happiness it can only buy us comfort . Happiness comes from inside we have to feel happy for that we have to be optimistic. People having money can be happy but at the same time be depressed. People who do not have money can also be happy as well as depressed . Happiness depends only on our mental state.
