Kavya Lilhare: Is Student Life Fun?

Earlier when I was a kid, my teachers told me that playing and studying are equally important. But now, as a grown up in class 11th, I merely get time to play. Students now aren't enjoying school life, but life has become hard for them. Every parent wants their child to be successful and for that, they are ready to give up their child's play time and engross him/her in tuition, which the child does not want to. Because tuition may increase the marks but does not make studies easy or fun. Competition everywhere has created a lot of burden on students and the introduction of boards has an even more massive effect on them. Now life is not easy. It's very tough to get enrolled in the top rated universities of India.

Life should be walked through the way it takes you. Should have dreams, but have to try to chase it without losing the enjoyment we can get from the school life.

I agree that student''s life is no bed of roses. Earlier students life was not based on mere grades. Today, they ain''t judged on their etiquette, manners but on mere grades. And how can we forget that "no play and only work makes Jack a dull boy".

Student life is surely very fun, it has advantages and disadvantages. It is an advantage as we get to learn something new and innovative and it has disadvantages as we are worried about are grades and marks. Student life has been a bed of roses for me as it has given me everything I wanted.

Yeah! Actually learning should be fun. But schools and colleges make it as a stress. Which panics parents too. As a student we may have some responsibilities, but not so huge a our parents. We''ve to allowed to achieve our dreams which studies can''t satisfy. We''ve to be allowed to play, as mental and physical stress gives bad results. At least in furure let all the elders consider a student''s wish!

Student life is a fun, but along with it, the college and adult life also. if we live our lives freely and happily no phase of the life can be a sad phase.Yes , I agree with it that the pressure of studies increases, but we should take it as a game and enjoy it while gaining success in it. Everyone has his own tension and ways to handle it. One shouldn''t take it as a huge pressure and blame the age of himself.

In the earlier ages students life was considered of a great fun but nowadays we find that students get loan to various things which are not eligible to their age and get into trouble and have a 10 slide so as they feel that students life is not a fun but if we have a proper management of time fun and other various activities in students life is full of fun

Even though I agree that the steep rise in competition and dire need for good grades, impels us to put in more effort as we go up classes, it does not mean you cannot enjoy School life too. There are students who rack their brains, studying day and night, and there are students who make sure to make time for the things they love. In short, school life is what YOU make it out to be. If you use your time efficiently, you will always have time for some fun.

Everyone in our country who has been fortunate enough to get an education will vouch for this fact that our best memories are from childhood, from our student days. No matter how much money we earn later in life or what kind of success we achieve, those carefree days of being a student were the best! However, times have changed drastically and the whole education scenario in the country has undergone an unpleasant change. Some people might think that I’m living in the past and comparing today’
