Harsh Rai: Is It Indian Or Foreign Premier League?

So many foreign players have been selected for IPL 2017 that it makes me feel that the Indian Premier LEague should be renamed as Foreign Premier League, What say?  Total of 66 players were sold out of which 27 were foreigners. Even Indian fast bowlers Ishant Sharma and Irfan Pathan were left out of the race and remained unsold.

Well, it''s origin lies in India. Therefore, it''s name is the Indian Premier League. It''s a platform for cricketers from every part of the world to showcase their cricketing prowess in the T20 format. The best men of the sport unite on this global platform to prove their worth. Although foreign players do play in this league, it cannot be named as Foreign Premier League.

People cannot call Indian Premier League as Foreign Premier League as it has been started and originated in India. It is a chance for every player in the world to come and play in this T20 game.
