Aastha Asks Has Technology Made Us Lazy?

Science and technology has made our lives comapritively easier and comfortable. But it makes me wonder: Are we too lazy? Are we so immersed in tech and convenience that we’ve forgotten how to live? Is this only a taste of our future, and is it a good one?

Yes, technology has made humans lazy now. Nowadays humans depend on technology and they don''t work themselves. We should stop it and work by ourselves.

A coin has 2 sides. Everything has both good and bad . In my view technology is good because for doing projects, communication etc. It has made human life easier. Always take good and leave bad.

50/50! Coz it made us aware of wonders around the world. Without social media we can''t know informations instantly. Technology made life easier and without it we wouldn''t be able to cope with the issues in this present world. Ofcourse it has its own demerits. As you are saying it made us lazy. It connects us with the society but it separates us from our family. We fail to fulfil our responsibilities. But if are are a bit conscious we can make best out of it.

Yes! I believe that technology has made humans very lazy. We are so easy-going because social media gives us everything we could ever need (except food and water) in the palm of our hand. Just the availability of social media had cooped up have people especially teens in their house and never wanting to go out with their friends or exercise!

Abhigya Singh Ryan International School

If things to good to us they also have some bad impacts on us. It depends upon us that how we take the benefits of the technology without leading it to a totally different direction. technology should be used wisely. We should not let technologies lead our lives to a small bubble of laziness.

We all know that Technology has helped us to map and manage data and numerous other tasks in a very easy manner but all this has surely made us lazy People need to stop getting addicted to their mobile and need to pay attention to the outside world ,I think portable gadgets are a reason for our laziness rather than the technology itself which has helped us a lot

How many of us could go a week without our cell phone? Do you even bother to memorize phone numbers anymore? I can’t even recall the last time I went a day without looking at the internet at all. Technology has made life so convenient for us that it’s almost scary to think of what would happen if we had to go without our favorite gadget for an extended period of time. We have to face facts: TECHNOLOGY HAS MADE US LAZY.

Vibha Kannan AMANORA PUBLIC SCHOOL AMANORA PUBLI

It is universally agreed that social media has made the world so small, that our world is accessible at our fingertips. But the fact that science and technology has made humans lazy is a debate-worthy topic. Every problem has two faces to it: the pro and con. Science and technology has improved our lives and made things that were never imagined possible. I do agree up to an extent that tech has made us lazy AND lacking at skills. So I say...a change in people''s mindset is possible!

Everything comes with pros and cons. If technology has given us many advantages then making us lazy is one of its disadvantage. But it totally depends on us as how we use it. If we utilise new technologies in a productive way then i dont think it will make us lazy .We just have to change our perspective.Although its a bitter truth that at present we are indeed became lazy but its not because of technology but the reason lies within ourselves.

Yes, it is true. The thing is , before when we didn''t have access to online world , we had to go to library in search of information for a topic. In fact , before we used to write our own scripts for anchoring competition , debate competition , etc. but now we search it on "GOOGLE" and the things we get online we blankly copy it.

No. Without technology people slept soundly at night, played lots in parks, studied and researched less. Now, we are sleeping less, working more - searching, talking, studying and checking gadgets all the time. I wouldn''t call that becoming lazy. Its just perspective.

Prerna Singh ARMY PUBLIC SCHOOL

Tecnology came into being for lessning burdens on humans, enhancing the quality of life but at the end it made humans lazier. Entertainment, info and much more is just a tap away. Electronic gadgets were invented to enhance quality of life but evetually it turned to be fatal as it made the human race lazier and lazier.

Aadisha Sharma Army Public School

Technology has made our lives easier. With smartphones in hand, consumers go about their busy days — running errands, going to work — all while texting friends, checking email, paying bills catching up on a favorite show .Being able to do all of these activities simultaneously does save time and just makes it easier to get more done during the course of a day. It just depends upon us how we consume the saved time.Technology has not made us lazier but has given us a chance to be more productive

Advika Devanshi UDGAM SCHOOL

Well everything has its pros and cons. So commenting on the same is a bit difficult. Because without it it is nearly impossible for us to live and with it we are becoming slaves of technology. So we must use the same wisely.

Emonwell Spoderman GLOBAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Technology is not really making us lazy, it is evolving us to creative generation. Slowly labour jobs are being taken away by machines, and new jobs are being made like animating, software designing, etc. Since labours are decreasing, people have to start depending on their creative thinking to survive in this world. But the day will come when animation and software designing will be taken away by artificial intelligence. Thats when only people good in managing and directing will suevive

Technology has not made us lazy on the humans how do they use the technology there are certain limits for the usage of it nowadays people spend the time on Facebook WhatsApp at cetera and forget about the family there should be Time management for all the things and for surely we cannot believe on the technology for making us lazy we are the people who are making ourselves lazy

Sarath Kumar RM Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

Certainly not. Technology has not made us lazy but made our works easy. We have to equip ourselves with technology which will help us to survive in this world.

Sarath Kumar RM Bethel Mat Hr Sec School

We should know our own limits. We should not entirely depend on technology which will kill our time and definitely make us lazy.

Tanvi Vaswani Nalanda Public School

Technology has made our lives much easier than before and this helps us to complete our work faster and better. But, every coin has two sides and technology has its known pros and cons too. When technology helps us to complete our work, we become lazy as we do not need to work hard. We either just need to put the clothes or utensils into the washing machines or dishwashers, or we just have to send an email instead of writing a letter. Thus, I feel technology has made us lazy.
