Piyush: Get Over The Regret That Is Holding You Back

I shouldn't have done it. The sentence is often said by us when we hold regret for what have we done. We become upset, angry sometimes and panic and finally start cursing ourselves.

“I shouldn’t have done it”, the sentence actually values less than a penny. Now, just think, is there any use of holding regrets? The answer is stone carved “No, we cannot change the past.” If we all know this, why do we waste our diamond studded time thinking over it and thus resulting to depress ourselves.

We need to learn and accept the situation, learn to digest the bitterness of the truth and then start thinking over the next step. Think where and why you had gone wrong and ultimately learn from the previous mistakes. Don’t let the past decisions matter too much that they start affecting your life as well as your future.

A minute gone is gone forever. Looking ahead instead of looking behind will always help build your skyscraper. So finally it’s your decision, whether to take a pause and look behind or continue to run the marathon of life to win the gold.
