Oshin: Seeking Revenge Never Leads To Peace
A still from The Dark Knight

We are social beings and all of us have experienced betrayal in our lives. It is the tendency of nearly every person to have an urge to take revenge. It’s not surprising to know that a person who hardly works can sit day and night just to plan a perfect revenge. But is it really the solution? Certainly not! After a successful revenge you might experience  short term satisfaction, but be ready to go through long term disturbance and pain as your subconscious mind begins to feel guilty and within no time you are the one who is suffering.

So what’s the best way to satisfy your need to take revenge? Start by looking at the bright side. Turn your negative thoughts into positive actions. Try working harder at your job and make people notice the better part of yourself. Ensure you make smiling a habit, even if you don’t want to. You’ll start to notice that your work is producing better results and this will make you feel happier and more confident. If you are still wondering about your revenge, just say, “Karma will do its job” and relax.
