Om: Follow Your Passion And Success Will Come Your Way

In our nation many households have a strong belief that streams like Doctor, Engineer and CA are the fields through which a person can get settled in life. Settling in life is important but not at the cost of one's dreams and passion.

Engineering or being a doctor is well and good streams at their place. But they are not all what our education system has; there are several fields which can prove to be better than engineering from an individual's perspective.

According to the HRD ministry of India around 1.5 million engineers are released in the job market every year and approximately 45000 to 50000 doctors are produced by India annually. Every year around 2.10 lakh students opt for becoming chartered accountant. But the stats in the fields like diplomacy in political science, journalism, etc. are quite less when compared with the above ones. It is a matter of indeed proud to become an archaeologist and study and research about one’s own motherland but becoming an engineer or CA and spending the day in an A/C cabin in front of a computer screen is given more priority in our nation. The main thing which is given importance is the salary package, designation and such other things.

What is overlooked is one’s desire and interest. My only plead to all those reading this article is that one should never lose their passion in finding success. Success is an essential aspect of life but passion also has the same importance in the life of a person. Passion is what keeps the fire of desire burning in the heart of a person.
