Mehvesh: We Must Balance Privacy And Security

We all know that today's era is completely modern and extraordinary. There are gadgets available right from bathing to cooking and many more things.

Gadgets have made are life easier and one such excellent gadget is CCTV camera which can record and capture every moment of living beings. At times it is good, however, now days you find these cameras right from office to malls and even in small shops.

If we see pros side then it is good that if some incident happens then it is easy to investigate but if we are captured in every single camera we pass through I think it disturbs our privacy.

Our video can be used differently. I think government should have some strict protocols regarding it is the question of safety citizens.

Although I agree with the author to some extent but we cannot neglect the fact that CCTVs were primarily invented for the purpose of our safety. So the question that now stands is that are we ready to compromise our security over privacy. Will that be worth it. I personally believe that if the government implements strict protocols to install cameras at every corner then it might backfire because we understand that even without such initiatives the Indian streets have still proved to be unsafe.
