Gurmehar Juneja: I Don't Approve Of Demonitisation

Here are some points which we need to consider before deciding it was a good decision or not. According to me it was totally unplanned move. Here are my reasons.

Human life is more important than anything: Till date, 88 people have died in ATM lines. Is this seriously happening? Just imagine, if you got a call from the police that your father or mother have died in the ATM lines. No one knows their destiny, what if one of those men was going to be the richest man on the planet! Big politicians are saying that people will face some problems but soon they will vanish away, but can the lives of those people come back? The answer is no!

Dirty Tricks Of Politicians: The politicians don’t have to worry about their old currency notes as they can get all the money transferred in white by depositing them in the party’s bank accounts. As you all may know that they have no limit of depositing their party fund. And in the name of party funds they are turning their black money into white. How funny is that! In Mumbai, 11 crore new currency was seized from a politician’s house.

Economy: Not surprisingly, shock waves from the announcement continue to crash the economy.

People are sleeping without food: People in Bihar have requested to provide free food to them you know why? Because they are not able to buy food for their families.

I don’t understand why should 99% of the population stand in line?

I totally agree with you. Its really sad that for those people who are following the norms of the government, & standing in lines, it costs their life. Not only this, the poor ladies who work in the chilli farms earned Rs 1500 as their wages post demonetisation. But now they earn only Rs 300 no matter how much ever hard work they put in. How can we forget those people who need money for their marriages.. Instead of black money being scrapped off, because of the politicians it is increasing!

Why is government behind the 1% of rich people to get black money and what about 99% of the population who are not changing black to white but their old notes poor are getting more poorer. Even if the people follow the government rules, it''s their loss.

I think demonetization is a right step taken to curb black money. Though people are facing difficulties but very soon we all should be seeing a positive change. Yesterday there were some people caught for theft from the cash van. The changes and outcome of all the steps taken would be slow, but we cannot expect overnight miracles. At the same we should be happy that our PM is trying so much for the development of the country. Lets all hope for the best!!

Why does the government require 6% of the back money which is in cash and the remaining 94% of black money is invested in various fields. No one knows about it.

let me give three good reasons for this: 1. it is for those 90% people only standing in lines 2. you have to take pain for greater cause 3 . we don''t mind standing in lines for movie tickets or for ordering pizza , then for combating black money it is no big deal. moreover more people die on roads in accidents than who died in ATM lines . Everything is for the nation and nothing is bigger or superior than that. We don''t cry so much when our soldiers die but a little pain kills us.

Well, yes I agree the demonetisation move was made in a haste. It was totally untactical and also not well excuted.

According to me demonetization is a effective and very helpful step. So many people who were having black money were arrested. It is a little difficult situation but it will help India develop. It is very important for black money to come out . In some or the other way people are panicking and banks are also cheating this is the main reason why some people are against this action, but,I support this bold action of our honorable prime minister,Mr. Narendra Modi.

But we also have to look on the bright side of the economic situation that will appear in the future and will have a good effect for a longer time .Weren''t people troubled when they stood in long lines for free Jio sims and some overrated auditions?

Vallari Ashar M.K.V.V.INTL.VIDYALAYA (CBSE)-BORIV

If we have to stand in lines for the betterment of our country then ,what''s the problem.People can stand in lines for free Jio sims and some overrated auditions without dying but when it comes to stand in lines in a step to convert our country from a ''developing'' country to a ''developed'' country , people die and starve ,etc.these things are just some hype that the media and some political parties have created...Best thing is to avoid paying attention to them....

I do not approve of demonitisation as it was not a useful move. It has lead to cutting of trees.
