Dharshini: A Letter To My Six Year Old Self

Dear Dharshini,

Hello, how are you? Now you’re going to have a very big shock in your life, I’m the future you! Maybe you can think what on earth is happening, but this is the truth. I am the 12 -year old you! In this letter I’ll be telling you some future secrets that are yet to be revealed. On 7th November 2014 you’re going to have a miserable day. Be careful on this awful day.

On 25th December 2015 your sister is going to steal your million-rupee (though it is just 5 star) chocolate bar. Now I’m going to tell you one important thing, you’ve got a very big talent. I discovered it when I was 9. Never think you’re too small to decide who you want to be in future. Start to dream. Work hard day and night to achieve it. If you select one stick to it never worry about the opinion of others because that doesn’t become the reality.

Moreover, there’ll be many people to discourage you, but never criticise them use them as they are your key to success. The more they discourage you the more you’ll wake up. Never fall down by their words, instead stand up and fight back. The only way to bring realisation into them is to fill your life with Achievements. Good bye for now because I hope I’ll soon see you as a famous personality who appears in the front page of all the newspapers!

Yours loving, S. Dharshini
