Dhanush: Competition Is Must To Learn, Innovate

The main reason why competition aids and accelerates the learning process is because we are involved in it not by acting as a passive spectator where we just read and learn, but by involving ourselves.

Many confuse competition with winning and losing. But the main focus of any competition is to make all participants learn, innovate, assimilate and apply. Competition is motivation to perform and the driving force to prove oneself. Rivalry helps one realise ones strengths and weaknesses and aids in weeding out inefficiencies which hamper progress.

Competition is that motivating factor which encourages our minds to explore new horizons and ideas to distinguish ourselves from the rest to be the best. Competition ignites the fire of learning and makes developing the main goal of life. Without competition, the internal desire to achieve would fade away till we are satisfied with mediocrity. Rivalry forces the participant to think out of the box and think critically.

Competition is the driving force which encourages a person to prove his/her worth over others. Competition rewards performers and teaches losers what ought not to be done. It is that essential ingredient of success which teaches us to accept defeat with dignity. It is that necessary element which teaches us to celebrate success with humility.
