Who Is Your Fashion Icon?

Whom does gen next see as their fashion icon? Find out here...

Sonam Kapoor stands out to be an inspiration; Sachin too figures in the list and we are not surprised!

My fashion inspiration in men is Shahid Kapoor because I believe he carries himself very well on all occasions. Also his dressing sense is sophisticated and trendy. For me, it is very important that one be stylish as well as decent at the same time. As for women, my icon is Hollywood singer Demi Lovato who presents herself confidently in all outfits and chooses what best suits her. Dressing up as if you were in in a competition of fashionable outfits is what everyone does but she keeps herself different by putting on clothes that suit her character.

My fashion icon is Deepika Padukone as she is very bold and beautiful! She makes herself feel comfortable in every outfit weather it is sari, hot pants, suit or an evening gown! Her Kohl eyed dreamy girl look in her debut movie ,'Om Shanti Om' earned her more adulation as she her vivacious performance stole the limelight!

Neha Vensiani, class X, CIPS Kapsi, Nagpur

When it comes to fashion icons I am a bit choosy about it but I love Sonam Kapoor a lot. Uff... what to say about her! I know there are many who condemn her a lot  but she has her own way which makes her unique and special. How she carries herself,is special in her own way. Love her loath her but you really can't ignore her.

Tanvi Trivedi, X, Delhi Public School, Chandigarh

I regard Sachin Tendulkar as my fashion icon. Rather unusual but he knows 'where to wear what', it's completely fine. I only would like to say that your personality is your own. Follow it rather than running behind those out of life celebs.

- Jnanam Shah, class X, SSVRM, Mumbai

One such actress who knows to dress simple and sober yet look elegant is Sonam Kapoor. Her dresses always have the style and a look which captivates and mesmerises the audience. Her make-up is natural and kept to a minimal so that her real beauty is not hidden. Her jewellery has unique designs and prints which reflect her true self. Her positive attitude adds up to her beauty to make her a perfect woman. My male fashion icon is Ranveer Singh. His sense in making new fashion trends has opened new vistas of imagination for many. Now men wear skirts, have suits made out of curtains and many other such distinctive trends. The thing that recognises him most is his humble and polite behaviour towards others be it his fans, friends or other celebrities. He never takes advantage of his status to dominate people. This makes him a complete man.

Rhea Mehta, class VIII, Pawar Public School, Bhandup

My fashion icon would without doubt be either supermodel Gigi Hadid or Kendall Jenner. Gigi and Kendall are without doubt the goals of every young teenager who wants to stand out in the crowd. Both the supermodels are known for their effortless outfits and fierce facial features. Frankly they would look like Greek goddesses even wearing a trash can!
