On-the-go Beauty Tricks

DIY BEAUTY

Here are beauty hacks for every kind of girl, even the late comers:

Emergency kit: Always carry a mini bag of makeup in your purse. This nifty pouch should be big enough to include a tinted lip balm, concealer, wave spray, mascara, and an angled eyeliner brush. With these items in your kitty, makeup gets mobile.

Double duty item: A lip tint is a dual weapon. It will give a burst of colour to your pout and also be your makeshift cream blush. For a dewy face, swipe some on the apples of your cheeks, and blend with your fingers.

5-minute wavy hair: Spritz damp hair with a wave-enhancing spray, scrunch and twist into two buns. After you're done putting makeup on, shake your hair out for a tousled wavy look.

Makeshift gel liner: Don’t have the time to do up your eyes? Take a clean, angled eyeliner brush. Dab it into a mascara wand, and use it to trace a line along your lash line. Finish off mascara for a polished look.

Quick brightener: A creamy, light-reflecting concealer covers up red spots and those nasty zits for an even complexion. It also makes for an amazing highlighter. Swipe some above your cheekbones and blend. Use it to line the bottom waterline of your eyes to make them appear bigger.
