How To Cuff Your Jeans

Perfecting the seemingly simple cuff roll on your jean may require more technique and practice than you know it. That's because there is a different way to do the cuff for every jean type. Here is your cheatsheet:

1. For Bootleg jeans, a 4-inch single cuff in one fold, is all you need to do.

2. For Boyfriend jeans, take up 1-inch at the hem and roll it in. Roll it one more time if you want the double 1-inch cuff effect. (This gives it a more street look.)

3. For Skinny jeans, take the hem and roll it for about 3-4 inches. Smoothen it out to make a crisp edge. (Better yet, iron it so that it holds.)

4. For Girlfriend jeans, take the hem, pinch the fabric and fold sideways so that it all comes on one side. Now roll the fabric up once or twice. (This gives a more textured effect.)

5. For the Mom Jeans, take the hem and fold it in a miniscule barely-there roll.

Bonus:

For straight jeans, take 6-8 inches of the fabric, and roll it one big fold for a dramatic effect.
