Artistic Ingenuity Of Performers

Gyan Bharati School, Saket organised its Annual day Exhibiton. Dr Prabhat Ranjan, Executive Director- Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council, Government of India was the chief guest. The exhibits highlighted various themes namely plants and animals, water, air, food, safety, first-aid, simple machines, communication, transport ,heritage and monuments. An array of projects, games and models made by the students were displayed which was an extension of the learning process followed in the classrooms. 

The exhibition focused on ingraining a scientific and creative attitude in the students to make them comprehend the interdependence of science, technology and society. The students exhibited Walking robotics, hydraulic lift, crane, arm, electrostatic precipitators and pressure based rocket propulsions. 
There were still models, working models, and projects. Some myth-busters, comparing movies with reality, organic reactions were also showcased. This also included some useful aspects of aerated drinks other than drinking.  There were projects based on eye, ear, circulatory system, excretory system etc., including separation techniques, DNA isolation, transport in plants and hydroponics
The English department drew attention to events of yesteryears. The students performed famous soliloquies and sonnets by the Bard of Avon.  Recitation and Slam Poetry were also engaging.
The Commerce department put up a display on relevant economic issues like GST, demonetisation and Make in India, and many others. Stock market simulation and skits on current affairs captured the attention of one and all. The Social Science department captivated visitors with panel discussions on socially relevant themes like the in pour of populations allowed by nations and the curtailing of freedom. 
The mathematics exhibition included array of models and projects incorporating daily life with mathematics. Some of the highlights were Ramanujan's magic square, labelling machine, mathematical modelling, and addition keyboard, and many others. The students of class XI explored the application and need for iconic sections and also discovered fractals in nature. 
The song and the play on French Revolution, showcased by the French department on the theme 'Voyons La France'. 
Spectators learned about the French cuisine and culture from these exhibits The photography club, Clay department, Calligraphy club displayed visually and aesthetically stunning exhibits.
Importance of yoga and naturopathy was highlighted. The Art and Craft department was displayed paintings made by the students ranging from junior wing to the seniors. 
The students also presented a cultural programme that included plays, Nukad Natak, state dances and songs. The Orchestra group performed 'Lepcha' the traditional Sikkim symphony. The school theatre displayed a curtain raiser on socially relevant themes like gender equality, child sex abuse and child labour. 

Gyan Devi Middle School, sec- 10, Gurugram celebrated its Annual Day. The chief guest Col RC Chaddha, Founder President, Global Cultural Foundation (GCF), was felicitated by the school chairman, Capt JS Yadav. Managing Director Neena Yadav and other guests also presided over the occasion.
The function started with a fusion band. The school report was presented by the school principal Sheena Yadav.
The function titled Katha Manthan revisited the India's mythological and historical kathas of Ganga's Descent on Earth, the Ramayan and the story of  king Prithvi Raj Chauhan.
A modern dance with the message that we should live our life to the fullest was also performed.
The function concluded with an address by the chief guest. He appreciated the school's effort in acquainting the new generation with the national culture. He also inspired the students to work hard and achieve success in life.
The annual exhibition 'Oorja' was organised by the students of the senior wing of Lal Bahadur Shastri Sr Sec School, Sec-3, RK Puram. The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Jayant Sud, Advocate General Punjab Govt along with the school management committee. The inaugural lamp was lit by the chief guest, school chairman JP Aggarwal, manager Indu Shekhar, HOS Abha Mohan and vice-principal Sunita Dogra. On this occasion Science Activity Books prepared by teachers of Science Department were also released for the Classes IV, V and VII.
The students from classes VI to XII exhibited their creative, scientific and asthetic talent showing innovative models after undertaking intensive study. The computer department displayed a variety of hardware components along with working software application models. The Commerce Department focused on current issues like GST, Demonetisation etc. 
Mathematics section captivated the visitors with their math magic projects and charts showcasing various calculation techniques faster than the usual calculation methods. 
The Science Department presented the working models on Drone, Sewege Treatment plant and Bio Plastics. The Economics Department focused on Government Budget, Foreign exchange rate and Sectoral Contribution in GDP through the charts and the models. The English Department tried to sum up the different aspects of English language by displaying models on Grammar as well as Literature and a model on 'English: the Global Langauage' was also the centre of attraction. The 75th years of August Kranti Movement was depicted by the Social Science Department.
The Hindi Department covered the topics on Swadesh Darshan and different important aspects of Indian Culture. The Sanskrit Department emphasised on the importance of Sanskrit language. A Book Fair was also organised.

DAV Public School, Jasola Vihar organised its Annual Fest 'VIVIDHA-2017'. The programme started with a plethora of events like Dance-Classical with contemporary, Folk Dance, Poster Making, Hindi Debate, Volleyball, Basketball and Table Tennis. Schools from Delhi-NCR participated in these events. The winners were DAV Public School, Ballabhgarh, DAV Public School, Dayanand Vihar, DAV Public School, East of Loni, B R Mehta School, DAV Public School, Gurgaon and the host school.
The two day inter-school Confluence culminated with the closing ceremony. The guests for the ceremony were school vice-chairman Baldev Mahajan and school manager Dr Premlata Garg. The guests motivated and encouraged the teachers, parents and students. The prize distribution also took place; in which the academic achievers of class X & XII as well as the winners of various competitions were felicitated.
School principal Dr VK Barthwal congratulated the achievers as well as the winners and participants.
