All About Our Constitution

Constitution Day was  observed at Oasis School, Raidurg on November 26. Activities like role play, poster making and screening of a documentary on the Constitution, were carried out on the school premises and students participated vigilantly with a sense of patriotism.
During the special morning assembly, the students of classes VIII-X showed the process of drafting the Constitution, its significance and the need of rules to regulate unwanted or harmful behaviour through a roleplay.
The students of classes V and VI students enthralled the audience with a mesmerising song on Samvidhan. The Preamble to the Constitution was also read out to instil a sense of patriotism among  the students.
Our principal E. Kameswari  spoke on the significance of celebrating this day and likened the Constitution to a ‘living document’  capable of adopting itself to its current situation.
One period was devoted to screening the documentary, “Samvidhan — The making of the Constitution” in the classrooms using the digi-board.
A poster-making competition on the topic, “Bharat ka Samvidhan” was also conducted. Students participated enthusiastically and exhibited their creative skills.
Flex boards depicting the features, significance and Preamble to the Constitution were exhibited around the school campus in a bid to empower both students and teachers.
