Who Is Your Book BFF?

We would love to be friends with these literary characters

Being book nerds, we've already written about having imaginary book series of literary villains. But, this flight of fancy also got us thinking about how awesome it would be to actually be friends with some of our favourite characters as well? Imagine hanging out, getting into all sorts of scrapes and mischief. Summer afternoons will never be the same again, thanks to their adventurous spirit. Here are five people we'd love to swap friendship bands with.

Tell us about yours in the comment section!

Georgina from Famous Five

Georgina, or George from Famous Five would be our in ticket to the cool club. This headstrong and super courageous tomboy would make for a great summer vacation partner; just imagine not ever having a boring day thanks to her and her famous gang. Plus you get to be friends with Timmy!

Jean Louise Finch from To Kill a Mockingbird

Jean Louise Finch or Scott, as she is more popularly known, is the rebel in school. But, the good kind. She isn't too interested in learning because she already knows way more than most of her classmates. You can bet on having some super interesting conversations with her. Since her father is the most respected member in society, hanging out with her would be more like being a part of the elite club.

Rose Red from What Kathy Did Next

Possibly one of the most fun characters in the book, Rose Red is exactly the kind of friend you need in a boarding school, far away from home. From knowing all the loopholes in the rulebook to being a teacher's pet, you know Rose could not only get you in trouble but also pull you out unscathed. Plus, you definitely can't find a more loyal friend than her.

Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice

Elizabeth is that friend you'd love to giggle with when your parents force you to attend boring, grown up parties. Her wit and passion for life will never fail to crack you up, on a bad day. And she got Mr. Darcy in the end ... so the dame has some #dudeskillz we could definitely learn from.

Jo March from Little Women

Impulsive, funny and always up for adventure, with Jo around you know life will always be a hoot. Not just that, you get to be a part of her family too and we best her sisters would make for amazing playmates on boring afternoons.
