Shop For Secondhand Books Online!

While the occasional ‘books by the kilo' exhibitions, and library clearance sales are a great place to get your share of secondhand novels, there are a couple of online stores that let you indulge in your book romance. They are super cheap, and there is always a return policy if the books are missing too many pages or are torn.  We give you four places where you can have a field day indulging in book-retail therapy without going completely bankrupt.

Secondhand Books India
This website has been around since 2004, and with over a lakh-and-a-half books on display, you get to chose from a variety of old classics, along with print copies. The only drawback is that the payment procedure is a tad bit lengthy, and cumbersome.

Mad books is another place to find some stellar literature that doesn't often show up in the bestseller list. They have an entire section dedicated to rare books, and apart from fiction you can also pick up regular college reading material here, that too for really cheap.

BookChor
Apart from selling such book on their website, this book-retail site also lets you buy secondhand books directly from the seller. The only hindrance is that you cannot conduct you money transaction online. You will have to set up a meeting with the book owner, and pay him or her directly. But that said, it is a great platform to get your hands on some new and interesting books, at the same time meet likeminded readers in the process.
