Give Us Your Best One Line Story

There's no way one can underestimate the power of the written word. Mesmerising sentences in literature have time and again come back to haunt us. But not every phrase needs to be plucked from the vast expanse of a story. There are sentences that stand alone in shadows of horror; weaved with words so few yet making your heart alight.

Therefore slow down, and hold your breath, as these 7 one-line tales prepare to tear you apart.

Welcome to the ToiStudent LitFest!

A super short online event created for you book lovers, nerds, writers, poets and basically anyone who loves books in any form.

Why are we doing this?
The Times of India Litfest starts on November 26th (Saturday) where over 700+ writers and panelists will help ask and answer important questions of our current times. It is the event to attend, but not everyone lives in Delhi and even if they do, they might not be able to attend it. So we thought why not host a small lit fest all of our own right here.

Who’s invited? And what’s do you have to do?
Readers it doesn't matter where you come from, what class you study and what grade you got in your last exam. In the Toi student lit fest, all you need you to do is bring your wit and creativity to the comment section.

What do you get?
The best arguments/entries will appear in the times NiE print edition in the coming weeks. So if you want to be featured... don't waste any more time!
So write what you think and think what you write.
