Will Right Policies Help Digital India?

A recent report says the right policies will help India achieve $1 trillion worth of digital services by 2022. Do you agree?

With India’s economy on track, thanks to the reforms carried out by the government, the report looks positive. Having said that, the government needs to give an impetus to the digital industry to ensure that the digital sector reaches its full potential.

The policies and laws passed by the govt have a major effect on the economy. At present, the NDA govt is powering towards boosting the country's economy, and the results speak for themselves. India’s recent rise in various world rankings indicates a bright future.

The pace at which India is moving towards digitisation in various fields definitely points towards a steady growth. PM Modi is doing all that is possible to make the transition (traditional to digital) easy and with the help of the right policies, the goal in mind can be achieved without a hitch.

The right policies will certainly be the boost to India''s economy and development. But, only making policies won''t help. The execution of these policies have to be done in a diplomatic, practical and efficient way. If the right policies are rightly executed, the right change will take place, and it won''t be long before India tops various economy world rankings.

A good beginning with right intention always brings fruitful results, structural changes always take time, many times we face unusual problems also, but we should always stand with strength to make such projects fully successful. Huge thumps up to our respected leader Mr Modi and people of India.

A good move can lead to great improvements and definitely the right policies would be one such move. It can surely help India achieve $1 trillion worth of digital services by 2022 if right steps are taken and enforced. This will surely boost up India''s development and would also help the youth of India to excel.

A digital push to right policies and timely and effective impetus will keep the Indian economy and the GDP on the viable growth track, which India has the potential. But due care has to be taken to nurture the digital infrastructure which is still in its early stage. The data penetration has been rapid but people still have to get used to the new way of commerce and working with digitalisation. With good steps and taking lessons from the mistakes of others countries, we can reach our goal.

At present we what we can is that India is being a target place for any product be it electronics or fashion. The Indian government has changed the way people look at digital trade. Demonetization brought digitization into play and now we are acing towards what we want to. We might achieve the target menitioned by 2022 if there are more policies like the ones before. We can expect the unexpected from India at any time.

It is important to ensure there is ''certainty'' and ''clarity'' on implementation of the tax statutes. It is also important to ensure simpler tax compliance regime in order to further India''s Global ranking in ease of doing business
