Will Arming Teachers With Guns Help In Solving Gun Shooting Crimes In The US Schools?

Arming teachers with guns will not reduce gun crimes in US, it may just increase it. The US government should pass laws on stricter gun control and arm security guards at schools.

Arming teachers in schools will be like normalising shooting crimes against innocent children in a place of learning. When you see a child hitting someone with a stick, do you give everyone sticks? Or do you take that stick away? That's the question US lawmakers should be asking themselves.

Is the govt planning a faceoff in schools between teachers and students by arming teachers? And what would happen in case the teacher ends up firing retaliatory shots? There is a need to check insecurity among Americans, besides tackling depression and isolation.

No.This is should not be the way the way to stop crimes occurring in the United States.Rather than this, they could have conducted various kinds of workshops and seminars for different age groups which would help them understand faster.Such a law/amendment should be removed from school policies as soon as possible.

Gun shooting crimes in US cannot be solved by arming teachers. It just gives rise to crimes. Instead of arming teachers, the security of school from outside as well as conducting seminars and workshops to mentally and emotionally equip srudents to be niether a predator nor a prey should be encouraged. Guns in schools only expose students to a terrorised environment affecting the students emotionally and mentally.

Definitely not. Arming the teachers with guns is not the solution to this problem. Instead the security guards of the schools should be armed and trained and the children should be made aware about this at an early age which will make them understand the effects of such incidents on the lives of others.
