What's The Key To Success In Politics

Actor Rajinikanth says that fame and money do not guarantee political success. Do you agree with this view?

It is said that money can buy anything. But it doesn't grant permanent political success. A politician should not only have a connect with the audience but also the potential to work at the grassroots level. Fame and money always run out with time.

Fame and money definitely give you a kick-start to succeed, but only for a short while. Political success is a result of keeping the public happy over a long period. For this, the people need to recognise you, not for your wealth, but for actions. Excess fame would mean more accountability with no scope for error.

Success in politics comes to those who are politically-inclined and know the game. The person must have a great vision and know how to lead. Cinema and politics are two different fields where some actors like Jayalalithaa and MGR succeeded in politics and some like Sivaji Ganesan failed.

I still remember the words spoken by Barack Obama ,'''' The KEY to political success : be authentic, allow two way conversations''''. Nowadays politics is turning to be a field where anyone can enjoy a good position, resources and get fame. According to me success in politics comes to those who are determined and who have dedicated themselves to save thee country. This is what each countrymen wants from every politician.

Even if, a not too prosperous person wants to serve the nation by heart and soul. He or she will have to work day and night to get that level of fame. On the contrary, it is the easiest task for a wealthy and a famous person to step into politics. People vote to such people with an open heart. May be this is the reason why we see so many famous personalities in politics. For some of these wealthy people politics is a game.

According to me winning people''s heart is the real success of politics. But in today''s world because of the few people who use unwanted ways, made as if earning money is winning politics. Each and every day we see that in our real life. But true success can be gained by winning people heart and enforcing wanted laws. True leaders have to understand people''s need and should necer think of money. He''s right!

To succeed in Politics, the person should have leadership qualities and should be a person who thinks of public welfare rather than profiting himself.He/She should be literate and have deep understanding of commerce(business).

Keeping in mind the present scenario, political success is merely empty rhetoric. In my opinion, having a vision is must but implementation of required policies defines the true leadership. An influencing and charismatic leader invites success, for presentation plays an important role. Keeping the public happy is the key element of politics, getting fame and having large number of supporters ensure better tenture. Constantly highlighting the positive actions keeps the parties in limelight.

APJ Abdul Kalam once said that India will experience permanent political success when politicians will flush off the policy of ''what can i take '' and adopt the policy of ''what i can give''.even i believe the same.

I do not agree with this. Today, many politicians and diplomats tend to emerge as successful leaders as they are among the rich elite section and due to their unrivaled popularity. This paves way to a tremendous increase in malpractices and corruption.

DIVYASHREE NAGARJUNA VIDYANIKETAN

Yes I do agree with the statement that political success doesn''t come through the Fame and money but through the hard work done cause the definition of political leader is not like a king but then it''s his duty to take care of all the requirements of the citizens around the country. Most of the people come with good intentions but then the corruption or bribe the all. Political success is gained bye good we do the more we gain some bad we do the more we lose.

Today people around are getting aware and have understood the need to stand up for what they believe in . No longer can a politician do all wrong and still roam around free for long

Yes, I agree with the view of Actor Rajni Kanth as if a cinema actor has fame cannot become a great politician because it is just a probability it may or may not, It had only happened with NT Rama Rao but when again it was done by Actor Pawan Kalyan he don''t get as much popularity as NT Rama Rao.

Politics can be a challenging and rewarding profession, where you potentially have the power as an elected official to make a difference in your community. To be an effective politician, you will need to combine hard work with smart choices. You will also need to focus on running a successful campaign for office so you can end up in a position of influence and represent voters on a local or national level.
