How Can We Promote Football In India?

FIFA president Infantino says Indian football board should take adequate steps to ensure steady growth of football in India. What steps should be taken to promote the game?

I think India needs to take football seriously. Investment should be made at  school levels to hone potential talent and set up special schools similar to Barcelona's La Masia academy. Such academies at grassroot levels can impart training to the students at a young age.

Marketing is the key to promoting football in India. Adequate endorsements coupled with more funds can bring it at par with cricket. Once it gets recognition, youngsters will get attracted towards this game. Moreover, school kids should be encouraged to take it up as a career option.

India should encourage youngsters to take up football. Good grounds need to be developed. We should also hire quality coaches for budding players. Apart from paying them well, government should also set up a national appreciation platform for the soccer players to encourage their achievements.

Football should be taken to rural areas and more talent should be searched. Many people in India love playing football and it is in their blood. These people should get a chance to show their talent to the world. Football is more famous in the foreign countries than cricket.

India possess talented football champs, the need is to find them out. More importance should be given to the game and regular tournaments should be held from place to place to encourage these champs to participate and showcase their talent.

We can promote football in India by gathering all the budding talents in football and induce them to play for India and to conduct many matches in order to promote competitiveness.

Football should be introduced in the villages because many a times stars rise from these areas and make the country feel proud. As in the case of Mr.Narendra Modi , who rose from a tea vendor, to become the prime minister of India. Also, they should be trained under highly qualified coaches.

i think that football should be made as a common sports basically in schools and especially among students.Government and even private companies should come forward to create tournaments to help students to show their talents and interest in football

Chance! Give them a chance and watch how they''ll shake the world!!! In the streets of a small town, one can see children running to chase the player kicking the football. Their adamantine determination to play enables them to play even during rainfall and when the ground is muddy and filthy. Chance is what these future football stars need!!!

Ritvik Baweja Bal Bharati Public School

To encourage fresh talent to the sport, football should be introduced to rural areas through local leagues. Promoting more children to develop interest in the game will also help. Providing free balls and jerseys to those who can''t afford and sponsoring them is also a big initiative. There is no problem in the talent of the nation, the problem is with the lack of opportunities.

JIYA TOMAR B G S NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

Candidly, Football is one such sport which in the present is being liked and preferred extensively globally. But, the fact is that every game or thing has its own importance and is used for different purposes be it recreational or compulsion. Therefore, we need to firstly upgrade the best of the sports already in our own country and try to utilise its purposes to the highest and then come up with effective measures and efficient tactics to allure the people to play other sports.

FOOTBALL IS MOST HARDER GAME IT MUST BE TAKEN IN SILENT PLACE THAT THEY MAY NOT GET DISTURBE AND NOT IN SMALL GROUND.
