This Independence Day, I would like to set a campaign for misguided youth. This generation is at times going in the wrong direction and so to spread the light of positivity and lead them to the path of illuminati, I would like to do so. The future of this great country will be written by the hands of the youth, so this Independence Day, I would like to motivate this generation to serve for their nation without any hesitation.

I stand by my country that two words are the pillars of my Independence Day celebrations. Unlike the previous year''s celebrations where I just went to my neighbourhood park and indulged in sham patriotic activities, this year I am planning to celebrate it in a distinguished manner. I am organizing a campaign which is about creating awareness and making the youth in my neighbourhood aware of the India''s rich culture and heritage so that the spirit of patriotism in them could be reignited.

An unforgettable day! Now my country turns 70, but still young and fresh. First of all I would definitely observe silence for sometime to praise great freedom fighters(in my heart). I wish to send a letter to PM regarding the development of our country, with the signatures of my classmates. Hope they''ll help me in doing it! Jai Hind!

Independence Day is not about only flying kites. We all have some responsibilities towards our nation and thus we should fulfill them. I am inspired by our honorable Prime Minister and his campaign on Swach Bharat Mission. I wil keep my surroundings clean and will not let anyone litter around and motivate them to make the nation clean and use dustbins instead of roads and rivers.

Independence day can never be complete without watching the parade at the Red Fort. The least we can do to show our patriotism to the country, is to watch the parade and give respect to those great men who have died fighting for the country. Knowing the right pronunciation and wordings of the National Anthem is also a great way to show our respect to the motherland. When the tricolor flag is hoisted, everyone must salute to show their respect to the nation.

Waayavya Mahadik ST JOHNS HIGH SCHOOL

This Independence day I would like to stand for to create awareness regarding literacy and it''s importance in today''s world. I wish to help those poor children who wish to study but could not due to poverty. This will somehow create a feeling amongst people who still have a different point of view towards studies.

When asked what you will do this Independence Day, people mostly reply by saying things that are completely out of their control. My school celebrates Independence Day every year by hosting an Inter - house singing competition, which I enjoy greatly while sitting in the audience. A Chief-guest attends this programme which is always a hit. Singing the national anthem, listening to the songs of the various houses and marching (inter-house competition) is how I will spend this Independence Day.

We should take the oath to use Indian products as far as possible. This will help our economy. The relations of our nation is going to be worst with Pakistan and China. Therefore, we should boycott these countries'' products so that there could be the economical pressure on them. Every student must oath to study smart as well as conserving the health. Everybody should think that he had to do something to make our nation a superpower and ideal for world .
